"Sure we can," Uncle Linden said, waving his
bank book. "I've got what we need right here." "We'll load up and head out. First, we'll take a
scenic trip and give Uncle Linden a chance to see
some of the beauty in this county, something else
beside big, glitzy Palm Beach hotels, and then we'll
head for New Orleans. My father will help us find
work there. I'm sure."
Heyden was speaking so fast. I couldn't catch
