And he took all of me. Swallowing me whole. More animal sounds erupted from my chest as my toes curled and my vision blurred. “Fuck, Theo, fuck, fuck, I’m gonna—“

He took that as a sign to stuff me back into his mouth. He grabbed my ass and held me there as I came, exploding down his throat. It was an ocean-splitting orgasm, the kind that made me feel like I momentarily bent reality, maybe passed out, maybe died and came back.

It was fucking intense.

Theo took every last drop of it. Not pausing for a moment, swallowing it all down. He licked his lips clean after, coming up to kiss me. The smell of our sex clung to him, filling my senses, mixing the salty taste that still lingered on his tongue.

“Gah damn,” I said, breathless. “Didn’t we just technically Eskimo kiss inside of an igloo? Does that win us an award or anything?”

Theo rolled his eyes, chuckling. “And then you talk about my ‘chill’ joke.” He kissed me, again and again and again.

“But yes,” he said as we got up and I pulled my pants back on. “That has to win us something. And speaking of winning, let’s go find the kitchen and shut this case. The sooner we do that, the sooner I can get you in our room.”

I gave a little purr as he grabbed my ass. I may have just saw the northern lights with my orgasm but that didn’t mean I wasn’t already down for round two. Theo had that kind of effect on me.

“Alright,” I said. “Let’s go and solve this shit.”

I too wanted to celebrate a win by getting my ass pounded until the sun came up.

CHAPTER 7

Theo Perez

Fuuuuuck.

Theo was a special kind of man. He made me drunk off his touch, alone. Add his taste and I was a goner. I could still feel him coating my throat, and that sensation alone had me close to coming. If it wasn’t for this Secret Santa Slayer (which I was sure I was close to solving) I would have already had Maverick butt-ass naked and legs spread wide as I ate him from head to toe.

First, we needed to find the kitchen, which we finally did. It was no where near where Andrew had told us to go. Surprisingly, we arrived when Andrew and Deck were just leaving, telling us they found nothing.

I decided to check for myself. The kitchen had an array of snowmen and human-sized gingerbread people sculptures placed throughout, doing various different activities, the smell of gingerbread permeating the air. One of the gingerbread figures wore a gumdrop-pink smile and seemed to be baking tiny copies of itself.

“That’s, uh, a little cannibalistic, huh?” Mav said, earning a deep belly laugh from me.

“My thoughts exactly.”

We walked around the large island, Mav opening the fridge but finding no clues (or food).

“How about your parents?” Mav asked, as nonchalantly as if he were asking about the weather. And of course he would—it was a completely innocent question.

Except the answer was so much more twisted than it seemed.

“I don’t think we’ve talked much about them,” he continued, opening a drawer and looking inside, not hearing the glass shards he stepped walked on. Invisible shards spilled from the broken family portrait I carried everywhere with me, lodged in my chest like a fist-sized splinter.

“They’re split up.” There. The simplest answer I could give. It was usually enough whenever anyone asked. No one seemed to like to dive into the messy specifics.

“What happened?”

“It didn’t work out.”

Fuck. I wasn’t prepared for that. I should have been. Of course Mav would ask—he was a five-star attorney; his entire profession was based around asking questions. And even beyond that, Mav didn’t seem to let anything I say slip past him. He poked and prodded in ways I didn’t always feel comfortable with but was quickly beginning to welcome.

This time, though, he seemed to pick up on the discomfort, the questions stopping.

He crossed around the huge island and walked toward me.

Fuck. Now I felt bad. I just—it was too heavy to talk about. Here, surrounded by huge gingerbread people and smiling snowmen. Holiday music jingled through the kitchen, talking about snow falling and friends calling yoo-hoo and sleigh rides together.

No, there’d be time to talk about the dark and twisted. Today was all about the fun and cheery things.

And sexy. Lots of sexy things. I could still taste Maverick’s come on my tongue, and it made me throb.

As Mav walked over to me, I couldn’t help but admire every single fucking inch of him. From his polished white Adidas that held the sexiest fucking feet I’d ever seen, up his light jeans that were lucky enough to touch those lean legs of his, legs I loved to hold up in the air and kiss while I plunged myself into him.
