Who's the Daddy (Crescent Cove 3)

I dug around in her box and found a frilly bottle of orange goop. I flipped the top and there was her scent—blood orange. Huh.
Guess that answered the citrus thing she had going on.
My dick instantly jumped at the memory. Having my head between her legs and getting an overdose of that scent had been enough to sear it into my brain.
Certainly not enough to get all Pavlovian about it though. Jesus.
I spotted a box of condoms next to the washcloths.
Hmm. Probably should have gone for one of her condoms instead of my ancient one.
Good to know in case we decided to revisit… No.
I wasn’t in the market for more than one hot evening. For all I knew, neither was she.
I sighed at the naked shower stall. She hadn’t put up the shower curtain yet, so I had to take a few minutes to do that. I kicked off my boots, jeans, and boxers and tripped over the fucking box. Her bathroom was barely more than a closet.
Once I’d done a quick cleanup, I got out and swore when I saw the time. Wes was going to be a cranky asshole if I was much longer. I had him on a strict schedule—for his benefit and mine. Mostly for him though. The kid had so much energy and if he didn’t get to sleep near a certain time, he got overtired and it was a long goddamn night.
I was still damp as I dragged up my jeans. When I opened the door, I got a very nice view of Kelsey picking up the wreckage of our…whatever it was.
She spun around wearing a threadbare baseball shirt with a unicorn across her chest. It skimmed her thighs and made her look about fourteen. “Oh, hi.” She cleared her throat.
Great.
I didn’t need to think about how young she was. She couldn’t be that young.
Dear God, I hoped.
I rubbed the back of my neck. “Nice shirt.”
She glanced down and crossed her arms. “I like unicorns.”
I leaned down and picked up a stack of papers. “Evidently. Stickers?” God, she wasn’t like nineteen or something, was she? Sage and Ally wouldn’t have been hanging out with someone that much younger than they were.
At least I didn’t think so.
She took them from me. “Planner stickers.”
“With rainbow shit?”
“Sometimes you need to put a little sparkle on a crappy day.”
I took the pile of papers from her and set them on a box. “Kelsey? Tell me you’re over twenty-one.”
“I’m well over twenty-one.”
“Good.” I slid my hand around her back, groaning when her shirt rode up and I came into contact with her glorious ass. “I had fun. You?”
She tipped her head up to meet my gaze. “That was one word for it. Hell of a christening this place got.”
I grinned and couldn’t resist kissing her saucy mouth. She did that gasping breathy thing then went onto her tiptoes and met me head on. Damn this girl for making me want just a little more than an afternoon.
Maybe one more.
I gripped her ass with both hands and pressed my eager cock against her belly. I drew back, taking a nip out of her lower lip. “I have to go.”
She dragged her nails across my chest with a little sigh. “I have tons of unpacking to do. Hope you don’t think I tip all the pizza guys like you.”
