“Ah, language.” She wrinkled her nose. “We don’t want our babies to pick up bad habits.”
“They will never hear me say anything but good words.” He gripped the back of her neck, tilting her head back, and even after five years, his touch sent a spiral of need racing through her body. “And tonight, I’m going to worship your body.”
She laughed. “I gave birth three weeks ago.”
“I know, so when Brendan and Laura are down for the night, I’m going to draw you a bath, wash every single inch of your body, and then I’m going to give you a massage, and feed you chocolate ice cream. Does that sound like the kind of worship you want?”
“It’s a start.” She cupped his cheek, staring into his eyes. “I love you.”
“And I am in love with you.”
