“I know,” he says smugly.
Groaning, I rest my head against his shoulder. “But then you say things like that...”
“And make it impossible?” he teases.
I shake my head at him. “Shut up and kiss me.”
“With pleasure,” he replies, brushing his lips against mine and backing me through the room until we get to our king-sized bed.
“Derek,” I murmur, pulling back.
His lips travel down the side of my neck and his fingers tangle in my hair. “Yes?” he murmurs.
“I’m too tired for a bedtime story tonight.”
He chuckles as his hands roam down my back to cup my ass. “That’s fine, hon, we can expand my literary horizons tomorrow night. Are you too tired to climb up on this bed, get on all fours, and let your husband pull your hair while he fucks you?”
With an impish grin, I assure him, “I’ve never been that tired.”
