He still wasn’t sure he wanted to make them all get a tattoo of his likeness, though.

But they had time to decide how they wanted to do it. So far, the only Rogues were Colton, Justin, and Skylar, although they were hoping to add Maxwell to the mix.

And Katia, of course, but only in an administrative capacity. Maybe someday down the road, he’d train her, but not now, not in her condition.

His heart overflowed when he thought of her and how happy they were. It’d only been three months, but they’d been the happiest three months of his life.

She’d found a college with a short commute that would accept her transfer credits, and within a week of claiming each other, they were in Montana. She went to school, he worked the ranch, and in the middle, they planned out the Rogues.

And somewhere, in between all of that, she became pregnant. It hadn’t been planned so it came as a shock to both of them, but it shouldn’t have. There wasn’t a day that had gone by where their passion for each other hadn’t overcome them—sometimes more than once—and they’d never used protection.

It had been one of the happiest surprises of his life, and he knew she felt the same.

Life was fucking perfect. He had his cousin back—the real Justin, the man he’d been before being rejected by the Enforcers—he had an amazing, talented, gorgeous mate, and now they had a little owl shifter on the way. The baby couldn’t be a dragon, since the gene didn’t pass through the males, but he was grateful for that, especially if it was a girl. He wouldn’t wish a dragon on anyone, not with the way their life and culture were.

And now he had his dream. It wasn’t exactly like he’d envisioned it, but he thought it was right for him—and he thought it would be right for others, too.

The clink of the gates opening drew his attention back to the present, and he looked over as a truck roared through the opening. The man driving was large with mocha skin, and he recognized him from the picture Skylar dug up. It was Maxwell.

Revving his motorcycle, he took off after him, thankful the weather was perfect, and he’d been able to ride it instead of his driving his truck.

Colton was thankful for a lot of things, actually. And he’d never, not for one moment, forget to be grateful for all the blessings that had come his way.
