Dating the Duke (The Aristocrat Diaries 2) - Page 63

Nothing else existed in this moment. It was just me and Adelaide and how perfectly we fit together, how right she felt beneath me, how smoothly our bodies moved in sync like we’d been together a thousand fucking times before now.

I moved, wanting more from her. Wanting to give her more. I wanted her to come undone in my arms. I wanted to hear her moaning, feel her writhing.

Her.

I wanted more of her.

CHAPTER TWENTY-ONE – ADELAIDE

My entire body was on fire. It felt as though tiny flames licked at my skin wherever Alexander touched me, but I couldn’t get enough of it.

Everything from the way he kissed me to the coast of his breath across my cheek to his cock deep inside me was making me feel things I hadn’t felt in a long time. It was like every kind of magic all wound together in a delicious braid that wrapped around me and held me hostage.

I was entirely at his mercy as he thrust into me with long, easy strokes of his cock. My legs tightened around his waist in a desperate attempt to bring him even closer to me, and my back arched as a moan escaped my lips.

Pure pleasure radiated through my veins, and I simultaneously prayed for a release and for this to continue forever. I never wanted to forget the way I was feeling right now, and while a part of me knew this was wrong, wrong, wrong, the part of me that wanted to do this another thousand times far outweighed it.

I slipped my hands to my waist and around to his back, tilting my head away from him. My nails grazed across his skin as goosebumps erupted all over my skin, and the building pleasure inside me was almost too much.

His name escaped my lips on a whisper, and he moved his hips faster, fucking me harder and more thoroughly until the tight heat that had been centred on my clitoris exploded through my body.

There wasn’t a single part of me that didn’t feel my orgasm, and he took my mouth in a rough kiss, cusping the back of my neck as I moaned it out. I swear to God, tears stung the back of my eyes, and my muscles only just relaxed when he grunted, groaning out his own release before quickly pulling out of me.

He relaxed, but he took the brunt of his weight, and I unlocked my feet and let my legs slowly fall to the sides of his body. We were both breathing heavily, and his skin was red and patchy just like I assumed mine was.

Either way, I was exhausted but exhilarated, and my limbs still trembled with the after-effects of my orgasm.

Alexander dropped his head, and his nose brushed against my neck. He took a deep breath and slowly let it back out again, then gently pressed a kiss just below my ear. “Was that how it was going to end in your book?”

“No. Definitely not.”

“How was it going to end?”

I laughed breathlessly, covering my eyes with my hand. “She was going to slap him.”

***

ME: I had sex with Alex.

I stared at my phone as if that would force my sister to respond to me.

It was a weird thing to text your adult twin sister, I knew that, but I needed to tell someone. And aside from Gabriella, she was the only person who wouldn’t tell anyone else.

I also had no desire to tell Gabi I’d slept with her cousin.

EVA: OMG HOW DID THAT HAPPEN?

ME: Well, see, there’s this thing that men and women do.

EVA: Don’t be smart. I mean how did you end up doing it?????

EVA: Can I call you???

Abso-bloody-lutely not.

I opened my phone to text back just that, but Eva’s name flashed on the incoming call screen.

Damn it.

“He—”

“You slept with him?” Eva exploded down the phone, followed by the sound of a door shutting. “How? When? Tell me everything!”

“I don’t know what there is to tell you,” I said slowly, lying down on my bed. “It just… kind of happened. One minute we were kissing in the library and then… we were naked.”

“In the library? And you always said I’m the naughty twin!”

She was.

I would have to be a whole lot more sexually liberated to even touch upon my sister’s escapades.

“Edward. Clarke. Fletcher’s. Private. Jet,” I shot back, enunciating every word.

There was a little silence from Eva’s end.

“That’s what I thought.”

“In my defense, he was very rich,” Eva said after a moment. “Rubbish in the sack, though.”

“So you’ve said.”

“Why are we talking about me? What happens now? I knew there was something between you two at the gala!”

I threw my arm over my eyes and groaned. “I don’t know. I haven’t even left my room yet except to pee, and I only did that because I’m in a different wing. I don’t know how I’m supposed to face him.”
