“Dear God, there’s two of you to flirt with me to get what you want, and it will work every single time. I don’t have an F88 here, but I can track one down for you.”

“Thanks.”

“Anything else you want?” Iris asks. “Want to hit the shooting range?”

“Nah, I think I’m ready to go home.” I cock my eyebrow at him.

Iris lights up and could not sound more enthusiastic as he says, “We’re going home!”

“Home is code word for sex, right?” Ricky asks.

“Please. I am a gentleman. I never kiss and tell.” Iris turns but then quickly looks over his shoulder. “But I do fuck and blurt. Yes, that was code word.”

I shove him toward the exit, while he carries the box with his toy under his arm.

“So why the F88?” he asks as we cross the parking lot to our cars.

“No particular reason. During one of my early tours, some Aussies were stationed at the same base as us, and I fell in love.”

“With an Aussie?”

I snort. “No. Just their weaponry.”

“Good. Because otherwise I’d have to track down the Hugh Jackman wannabe and kick their ass.”

“Mm, I kind of like this jealous streak. Why weren’t you jealous inside when I was flirting with Ricky to get my gun?”

“Because it was to get a gun. Duh.”

“Oh, okay. So on the scale of importance, I sit below guns and ammo. Got it.”

“If it makes you feel any better, you’re right up there. You just fall a little short.”

I wrap my arm around his waist and pull him against me. “How can I make up the difference?”

“Race me home and fuck me when we get there.”

“Done.” I turn on my heel and head for my car.

The whole way home, we both drive more recklessly than we probably should. Iris pulls up to his gate first, expertly navigating the winding hill up to his place. I follow him, and while he parks in his crazy hidden garage, I leave mine off to the side.

Only proving my theory that weapons are at the top of his importance list, Iris takes his rocket launcher out of his trunk and carries it over with the proudest look on his face.

“And here I thought you were so desperate for me you might have left that in your car and tackled me right here in your yard,” I say.

“Oh, I’m desperate for you, but not that desperate. I don’t know if there’s anyone in the world I’d want enough to risk grass burn for. Especially on my ass.”

“What about your hands and knees?”

“Hmm. Maybe. But not today.” With his free hand, he drags me through the barnlike doors to the converted garage turned stash room.

The shelves on all three sides have weapons on display, and right there, in the middle of the wall is the space to fit his new toy perfectly.

“How long have you been wanting this RPG?”

“About a year. When Ricky called me last week to tell me it was on its way, I almost creamed my pants.”

“Are you ready to head upstairs and get naked, or do you need to stand here and admire it sitting up there for a while?”

“Why not get naked here?” Iris undoes his belt and kicks off his shoes.

“You’re going to make me bend you over this counter so you can stare at your rocket launcher while I fuck you, aren’t you?”

Iris’s shirt goes next, and my gaze gets stuck on his cut abs. “What, you not into that?” he asks.

“Oh, I am, but I’m wondering how far I should play into your obsession with weapons.”

“All the way, baby.”

“I’ll have to draw a line somewhere, someday. But today is not that day. Drop your pants and turn around.”

Iris doesn’t just drop his pants; he gets rid of them completely. And okay, I have to admit, having a sexy-as-fuck man naked and surrounded by guns, knives, a fucking katana, and an RPG is possibly the hottest thing I’ve ever seen.

I’m quick to get rid of all my clothes.

But as I step up behind him, my cock aching for attention, I have to hold myself back. “Lube.”

“Uh … Umm, I know I put some down here at one point, but I can’t remember where.”

“You, Mr. Emergency Sex Stuff, doesn’t know where he put the lube?”

“I’ve never done this down here. Actually, I’ve never even been with a man in my house. My house is reserved for relationships only.”

I freeze. It’s the second time today he’s mentioned us being in a relationship. The first time was a joke, but this … this means what, exactly?

“Oh, fuck. I didn’t mean that means we’re in a relationship,” Iris says. “You’re staying here. Total loophole to that whole thing. But, basically, I’ve only ever had women in my home, and they wouldn’t get this.” He waves his hand.
