My court of law didn’t require as much evidence.

I followed her as she victoriously left the court steps. I watched her for weeks, taking note of her slyly pushing toddlers down when their parents weren’t watching them at the park.

In the grocery store, she pinched toddlers as she walked by. Always the parent turned around, unaware of why their kid was crying.

I tortured Hannah for two hours. I made her beg and scream in my soul coffin. Made her sob and gush with blood.

There’d been no lust involved nor a thirst for sexual energy. I had no attraction for someone so sick and disgusting.

For her death blow, I’d gone medieval with her, slamming the hook into her neck and ripping the carotid away.

Good times.

Her blood had gushed out like a busted water pipe. It flooded the metal walls in dark red, and drenched the floor in puddles of her blood and urine. A pool of it swirled around in a circle on the floor, before spiraling fast and escaping down the drain.

I’d leaned back against the mirror and watched Hannah die.

I couldn’t kill Phoenix like that.

She was the second woman to be in here.

And tonight had been the most mind-blowing experience of my life.

Is that why I can’t kill her?

Maybe it was her promise to give us the money in four days. After this session, I could see her being compliant and making sure we got it.

However, she’ll want to be free after the money exchange.

The very idea made me uncomfortable.

We could get the money, but Phoenix could never be free. She knew too much about my brothers and me. She’d seen the torture room. She could tell the police enough to put them on a decent track to hunt me down. Perhaps I could avoid them, but I didn’t want to look over my shoulder.

And. . .I just don’t want to let her go. Not yet.

I yearned to explore the connection of blood and sex.

When I fucked women, I kept the blood and knives out of it. I never mixed the dark side with the fake illusion of my normalcy. Plus, sharp things scared females. Few chicks wanted surgical tools in the bedroom.

And I never kept a woman around longer than a few hours to explore anything more than an orgasm and wet moans. Plus, I always lost interest after fucking a woman once.

But with Phoenix, I craved her bad and hadn’t even truly fucked her.

How good would she feel on my dick? Especially, if she’s covered in blood.

My body vibrated with the memory of her moans.

When I got on my knees and devoured that pussy, it was over for me. My senses exploded into paradise. Her pussy was so wet and dripping from her juices and blood. How could I not have my tongue all over it, sipping and feasting?

I need more.

Pulling myself back to reality, I moved the gauze from her wounded shoulder and confirmed that the blood had stopped.

Good.

If the wounds on her legs still bubbled, I would have to raise them above her head to slow the bleeding.

I checked the cuts on her thighs.

Okay. They’re fine too.

I left her and washed my hands. Once I made sure my fingers were tidy, I put on disposable gloves.

Pleasuring her was an unexpected occurrence.

Whistling, I returned to Phoenix and cleaned her wounds to prevent any infections.

We need your skin soft and healed to cut again.

I couldn’t lie to myself.

The whole time, I yearned to cut her some more, even while she was sleeping. I craved to spill more of her blood on the floor.

Stop it. She’ll need time to get her strength back.

I finished cleaning her up to my liking. I assessed the cleanliness of the wounds and was pleased. Sighing, I picked Phoenix up and carried her away. Her limp body weighed nothing in my arms.

I have to be more careful with her.

I pressed the wall’s side button.

The metal wall slid open.

Cool air smoothed over my face.

I carried Phoenix into my bedroom, past my bed, then down the altar steps, and headed to the hallway.

How do I make sure she stays with me during the money exchange with her friend?

I carried her down the hallway.

Whimpering, Noah left his room and trotted after me.

I smiled. “Were you lonely, buddy?”

Noah followed me into the bathroom.

“I’m here now.”

Noah wagged his tail, next to me.

I placed Phoenix in the bathtub and made sure her body remained upright. It was hard to hold her and turn on the water, but I managed to twist the handles. Water poured from the faucet. I grabbed the closest bottle of bath soap and poured some in.

The whole time, Noah went to her head and licked the side of her face, lapping up the dried track of tears.

“You like her?”

He lapped at her face some more.

“Okay.” A tinge of jealousy hit me. “Enough.”
