Geomancist (Seven Forbidden Arts 5) - Page 53

“You can touch if you like,” he said in a raspy voice.

The opportunity may never arise again. This might be all they’d ever have. Not hesitating, she wrapped her hand around his thick girth. He hissed as she stroke her palm over his hot, velvet flesh. Dropping his hands to his sides, he balled them into fists as she took over where he’d left off. She had to use both hands to cover his length. His groan was her reward, giving her power. She wanted—needed—more. She needed to taste him.

When she leaned forward and parted her lips, he gripped her hair in her nape to hold her back.

“Fuck, lass. Not your mouth.”

Dejected, she closed her mouth. “Sorry. I should’ve asked. I just assumed you’d like that.”

“Oh, I’ll like it.” His smile was predator-like. “But if you wrap your tongue around me, I can’t guarantee I won’t lose control.”

“Next time, then,” she said jokingly, trying to make light of the rejection.

“Yes,” he said slowly, watching her intently as he lifted his hips to press harder into her hands. “Next time.”

Unable to hold his piercing gaze, she lowered her lashes. She was no longer moving her hands. Instead, he was using her, pumping into her palms at his own pace.

Compared to the few lovers she’d had in her life, Sean took a long time to come. Making love to him had to be heaven. His cock thickened more as he pumped faster. Cupping her hands, he thrust one last time before clenching his teeth with a grunt.

Ribbons of cum painted her breasts. She watched in fascination as he emptied himself on her chest and belly with a heated look of satisfaction, as if he needed to mark her.

Finally empty, he said in a rough voice, “You fuck with my head. Know that?”

The statement was heavy and loaded with meaning. Biting her lip, she observed him quietly as he got to his feet and adjusted his clothes. He zipped himself up without taking his eyes off her. When he was dressed, he walked to the bathroom and returned with a wet towel.

“Come here,” he said, leaning over her to wipe her clean. “Do you need a shower?”

“I’ll have one in the morning.” She didn’t want to let anyone know that she was awake with a light in the bathroom, especially not Juan or the guard at the front door.

He dropped the towel on the floor. “I should let you get some sleep.” Lowering himself onto the bed, he wrapped his arms around her and pulled her down next to him.

“Sean,” she whispered-cried. “What are you doing?”

“Cuddling.” He hugged her tighter. “Isn’t that what a guy is supposed to do after giving a girl an orgasm?”

Despite the situation, she couldn’t help but smile. He not only managed to make her forget about the collar and its implications for a short while, but he also made her feel lighter. Who was this man who could be so competitive and rude in one minute and gentle and caring in the next? She was curious about him and everything concerning him.

Touching the crystal hanging around her neck, she asked, “Why is this pendant so important to you?”

He stiffened minutely, but she noticed.

“One day, I’ll tell you,” he said.

She turned in his arms and traced the tattoo on his chest. “This is Newton’s law of gravity, isn’t it?” She remembered it from science class.

He cupped her hand. “The law of universal gravitation.”

“Why did you have it tattooed on your body?” Of all the things in the world he could’ve chosen, Newton’s law seemed eccentric.

“It’s elegant,” he said with a shrug.

“Elegant?”

“Perfect balance.” His breath feathered over her lips. “Any two bodies in the universe attract each other with a force directly proportional to the product of their masses and inversely proportional to the square of the distance between the two bodies.”

Her smile stretched. “Are you a geek?”

In reply, his lips quirked. “Is that an insult?”

“No.” She trailed her free hand up the inside of his arm to the formula tattooed there. “What about this one?”

“It’s the first law of thermodynamics. Energy can’t be created or destroyed.”

“Do you have a science fetish?” she teased, really wanting to know why he was so passionate about these laws.

He chuckled. “Maybe one day I’ll tell you. Now go to sleep.”

The tension returned, eradicating the afterglow of her orgasm. “Shouldn’t you go?”

“I’ll go when you’re sleeping.” He kissed her forehead. “Now shut that pretty mouth and close your eyes.”

She did as he ordered, burrowing deeper against his chest and basking in the false sense of security of his strong arms. For a few precious moments, she’d pretend.

Holding Asia in his arms was like homecoming, a sentiment Sean often experienced in her company. Her small, warm body fitted against his like she was made for him. He listened to her breathing as she slept restlessly. That restlessness was his doing. Giving her an orgasm and an aftercare cuddle were nothing but distractions. Of course, he didn’t plan on coming all over her milky white breasts. That part had been improvised, brought on by the uncontainable lust of the moment. She just looked so damn hot when she came for him that he started thinking with his dick instead of his brain.
