“We’re not approachable?” Zane asked.

She widened her eyes as if he asked a stupid question.

“You are both very attractive men, worth billions, and carry yourselves in such a way that you’re intimidating. But this morning, you seem different. Zane, you hardly even paid attention to anything we were saying, and every so often, as you stared off in the distance, you smiled. That’s a rarity.”

“I smile,” Zane stated firmly, feeling offended, yet Stacy was right. He was a hard-ass. He had to be and so did Cash. People were always trying to get into their pockets, screw up a deal, or hurt them in some way. They’d grown cold and distant. That was their life.

“And, Cash, you kept abreast of the conversation, I’ll give you that, but you were do

odling on your notepad. You don’t ever doodle. So whoever she is, she’s got your complete attention. I never thought I would witness that. So if I may be so bold, considering that I am in my fifties, and understand the type of relationship you two like. Hold on to her. Don’t be so quick to let her get away.” Stacy turned around and left the room, closing the door behind her.

Zane was shocked. Had they both really been acting like that? He looked at Cash who opened his leather binder and stared at his notepad.

“Were you really doodling?” Zane asked, walking around the table to see.

“Zane, I want to see her again. She’s all I’ve been thinking about.”

Zane looked down at the notepad. He saw the fancy design Cash had made, all centered around the letter C.

C for Chiara. He looked at him.

“I can’t stop thinking about her either. We should cancel the lawyer meeting, call Chiara, and do lunch,” Zane suggested.

“Do lunch or do her?” Cash said so seriously Zane had to chuckle. That was something Zane would say.

“We can order out, have it delivered to our place, and steal her away from the office for a few hours,” Zane suggested.

“She won’t go for that. You heard her yesterday. She attempted to leave first thing in the morning.”

“But we didn’t let her, Cash.”

“I know that. We spent the entire day together, but she looked so sad when she left. I couldn’t help but to think that she didn’t want us.”

“Are you kidding me? She’s never had sex with two men.”

“And we know this how?” Cash asked, and Zane was surprised by Cash’s insecurities.

“Cash, she loved being with us as much as we loved being with her. We’ve never felt such a connection, a jolt of awareness and completion like when we made love to Chiara. That has never happened to us. It means more. She means more.”

“You think she’s scared about the whole ménage thing?” Cash asked.

“Probably. She definitely wasn’t experienced sexually.”

Cash smiled. “We gave her some major first experiences this past weekend.”

Zane smiled. “I want more nights like that.”

“But, Zane, how do we know that she’s the one. We’ve talked about finding the perfect woman that had all the qualities we looked for in a partner. The chance is like a billion to one. What if this is just lust?”

“Oh, it is lust, and so much more. I think our odds in finding that perfect woman to share just got a hell of a lot better. Let’s not fuck this up. I’m going to call her office. I’ll see if she’s available for lunch, otherwise, we’ll do dinner.”

Cash took a deep breath and released it. For such a powerful-looking man, standing there in his five-thousand-dollar William Fioravanti Bespoke suit, Cash sure looked unsure of himself.

“We can’t stop thinking about her. Saturday night and Sunday were perfect. We’ve never allowed a woman to stay so long,” Zane stated as he began to dial the number to Chiara’s office.

“We never cared to ask a woman to stay,” Cash said, and then smiled as if he suddenly realized what Zane had. Chiara was special already.
