“Oh,” she moaned, not caring about anything but finding her release.

The thought that Hank and Marco watched her right now was just what she needed. She rocked her hips and Anthony called her name as they both exploded together.

As she tried to catch her breath, she opened her eyes to see Hank completely naked, and Anthony pinched a nipple again.

“Hey.”

“Hey yourself,” he replied then slowly pulled from her. He got up off the bed, and then lifted her up. He passed her to Hank then caressed a hand over her ass cheek.

“Later, sweetness.”

She smiled.

“What was it he was proving?” Hank asked as he carried her toward the bathroom.

“How bossy he thinks he can be!” she yelled over Hank’s shoulder and Anthony pointed at her in warning. She giggled against Hank’s shoulder, feeling so carefree and alive.

Dalton was in the kitchen looking out the window and toward the fields that surrounded their home.

“Hey, whatcha doing down here all alone?” Anthony asked as he entered the kitchen wearing only his jeans.

Dalton glanced at him then turned back.

“Not much. Just thinking.”

“I’m going to take a quick shower then start dinner.” Anthony grabbed his phone from the counter and looked at his messages.

“Shit.” He ran his hand through his hair. Dalton watched him. His brother more than likely got the text message from Marco with Frank’s mug on it. Jeremy was right. The guy was good looking and appeared charming and everything a woman would want. Perfection, actually.

“Marco wanted us to know what the asshole looks like,” Dalton stated.

“I wasn’t expecting this,” Anthony replied, and Dalton wondered if he wasn’t the only one feeling strange.

“He’s good looking, as Jeremy described after looking at his picture.”

“He is. I expected a monster. I guess this is why he’s gotten away with his crimes. It’s how he manipulated the doctor to help get him released.”

“Millie’s a beautiful woman. Her skin is soft and feminine. Her dark blue eyes give away her emotions and it’s fun to watch,” Dalton said as he continued to look out the window.

“Why are you holding back from her?”

“What?”

“She’ll love you, scars and all, Dalton,” Anthony offered, but Dalton didn’t want to hear it. He was scared that she would see his war scars and be disgusted. It’s why he wore the shirt. His brothers were perfect, even the fucking psycho ex-boyfriend was perfect, but not Dalton.

“Give her some credit, Dalton. She’s not superficial. She’s sweet, she’s empathetic, and she already loves you despite you hiding part of yourself from her.”

“I never felt like this about anyone before,” Dalton admitted.

Anthony chuckled. “Join the fucking club.”

Dalton looked at him and Anthony smiled.

“She’ll love you no matter what. It’s just the way Millie is. I’m going to take that shower now so I can start supper. Do me a favor and tell Jeremy to get his ass out of the shower and help me.”

Dalton pushed away from the counter and went in search of Jeremy with a still very heavy heart.
