Sage's Story (The Town of Pearl 5)

Matt and Dale moved closer to Sage along with Virgo.
“Baby, I can’t wait to get you home. I don’t think I’m going to let you out of our bed for a very long time,” Matt said and then kissed her softly on the cheek.
The others chuckled.
“I don’t think I’m going to let her out of my sight for a second from now on,” Virgo added.
“Hell, we should just get ourselves some handcuffs and take turns locking her to us,” Dale added, and they laughed.
“Well, I like the taking turns part, and maybe even the handcuffs part, but only in the bedroom, fellas. A woman’s got to have her limitations,” Sage whispered, and she felt the slap to her ass and squealed then looked at Matt.
“I think we need to get around to those rules we have for you, darling,” he said with a smile, and Virgo chuckled.
“Rules? What kind of rules?”
“The kind that keep you safe and keep that wild side of you under control, except for in the bedroom. Now let’s get you to the hospital to get checked out, and then back home to our place where you’re moving in, and you’ll be keeping busy for a very long time,” Virgo told her as Quaid began to carry her toward a black SUV.
Epilogue
The sun was setting out across the land, and Sage lay on the blanket after making love to her men, one after the next. She was content lying on Matt who caressed her hair, while Virgo stroked her inner thigh, and Dale and Quaid lay in front of her with their cowboy hats hanging over their eyes to block the sun. She looked their bodies over, feeling blessed to have found such sexy, muscular lovers. She had been lost but now she was found. She had blocked off her heart, but because of them, it was wide open. She made the decision to stay in Pearl, and in the loving arms of her four amazing lovers. Her heart was still heavy over the conversation she tried to have with them at the Inn before Mark had interrupted their conversation. She knew she didn’t wa
nt to leave Pearl, or them for that matter, but she needed to know where they stood in regards to her career.
“What’s that serious face for?” Matt asked her.
She was silent a moment and then brought up the conversation she tried to have with them about working in a research or computers area with the government or law enforcement agency to help stop men like Brent.
“I didn’t mean to make you think that your career wasn’t important. I just immediately felt like you still wanted to leave us for Dallas, and that maybe you weren’t fully committed to us,” Matt shared. She reached over and caressed his cheek.
“I guess we still need to work on our communication skills.”
He smiled as he ran the palm of his hand across her ass cheek.
“I think we’ve been communicating just fine.”
She chuckled.
“Well, what do you think about my idea then? Any connections anywhere that I could explore as options for a job?” she asked.
“Actually honey, it’s funny that you brought this up,” Dale stated.
She looked at him oddly.
“You see, we were paying attention to you during that conversation that was interrupted. Once we got over our initial fear of you leaving us, we discussed some ideas of potential opportunities. Between the four of us, we know a lot of people. There are some options. You could work per diem like Matt and Quaid do, for the government, the state police and even the US Marshalls. Virgo and I have some close friends involved there,” Dale told her and she felt excited.
“Or, you could assist us with some of the special cases we get from time to time,” Matt added.
“But that would only be here and there. I was hoping for something more permanent.”
Quaid cupped her breast and smiled sweetly.
“Baby, we don’t need to make a decision right now. We’ve got time. Time to love you, cherish being here with you, and knowing that we’re in this together. Nothing will ever come between us.”
She smiled, knowing that Quaid was right. She just wanted to relish in the moments like this, where they shared time together.
“It’s so peaceful out here. Pearl is really a very beautiful place to live. I’m glad I’m staying,” she told them.
“So are we,” Dale added.
