His face is a contrast between in pain and agreeing to me but being Luke, he will never let the mad rush think for him.
"This is your first time, for Pete's sake, Olivia!"
I meet his dark gaze, showing him my honest decision through my eyes.
His eyes close for a moment, pinching the bridge of his nose as if this is giving him a worse migraine.
"Think about what you're saying. I can't go back once we're there."
With all the choices he's giving me tonight, I swear he can just get over it and list me off his lists of another secretary he sleeps with.
"Don't think for me, Luke. It's up to me to decide for my own. Whatever comes out of this is none of your business already."
If a look can kill, then I'm already dead the second his eyes pierce into mine.
"You're every bit my concern, Mathew. You're not going anywhere until you're satiated."
My body shivers with the vague promise knowing fully well that he's good with his words.
When he claims my lips, it's a bruising kiss full of hunger. I encircle my arms around his neck, sinking my fingers through the soft silkiness of his hair.
He breaks the kiss and scoops me in his arms effortlessly as if I weigh nothing. He threads upstairs keeping his eyes on me all the way to his room. I know that it's his room by the unique scent that is only him. Spicewood and pines.
He set me down gently on his made-up bed, making me sink into it.
I quickly dash my clothes away, sitting in my naked glory as he is. There's no barrier now to keep us from each other, from becoming as one.
He runs a thorough look at me, making me want to cover myself, but I hold myself. There's no use in being coy now when we've managed this far.
He closes the distance between us with long strides of his strong legs. He gives me just enough space when he settles by the foot of the end.
Eyes soft, he gives me a last and final choice. "You can turn around and pretend that this never happens. You're still intact, Olivia."
I close the distance between us and place my palm on his rough cheeks, his stubble tickling me.
"You're not a monster to ruin me, Luke."
He leans into my touch, eyes closing. "I wish I can persuade you on that."
If I'm going to have more than a tumble in the bed with Luke, I have to patient. He believes to be accountable for everyone's mistake for too long that it'll take a while to change his thoughts on that. It's not going to be an easy road that's for sure.
I lean close until our lips are touching.
He tilts my chin up for better access, pressing his tongue to open my lips. I freely give him access, giving back as much as he's giv
ing me.
For a while, we just savor the sweetness of the moment until we finally have enough of playing around.
Luke lifts me up until I'm lying down on a pillow that wafts his scent. My head spins from dizziness having him all over my senses.
"Imagining someone else?" his cool tone cut through my reverie, but his face is anything to go by.
I trace his lower lip with my thumb, just smiling at his remark. Trust Luke to expect the worse in everything.
"What am I going to with you, you silly man!"
He dots kisses everywhere on me. To my eyes, cheeks, the tip of my nose, forehead, chin, ears—lingering there a little longer to nibble on them—and to my neck. He pays extra special time there saying sorry for each one of them. His kisses leave burning trails in their wake making me anticipate with each one each time.
