The Demonslayer (Seven Sins MC 4) - Page 27

And the snarl.

Let’s not forget the snarl.

I needed to push him away.

I needed to reinforce the boundary I’d put into place not more than a freaking half an hour ago.

But his thumb was finding my clit and working it exactly the way I liked even as two of his fingers plunged inside me.

A choked sound escaped me as my walls tightened around him, begging for more.

“Fucking drenched for me,” he hissed, his mouth down near my ear. “You—“ he started, then both of us stiffened as the sound of voices drew closer.

Minos grabbed and turned me so my back was against his chest, and his body completely blocked mine.

His other hand rose, slapping over my mouth as his fingers started to fuck me. Fast. Unrelenting. Driving me up as the group moved closer and closer toward the alley between the buildings.

“You gonna come for me?” he asked, his thumb working my clit as his fingers twisted inside of me, stroking over my top wall. “Right in front of all these people?” he added as my walls tightened, as my body edged closer and closer to that cliff.

I knew I needed to pull away.

But I couldn’t seem to get the thought from my mind to my body.

And, honestly, my mind went ahead and gave up the fight not more than a few seconds before.

“There you go,” Minos murmured as the footsteps started to move across the alley opening. “Good girl,” he praised as the orgasm slammed through my system.

It was lucky his hand was over my mouth, but it just barely managed to muffle the sound of my cry as the first wave crashed.

The voices disappeared before my mind cleared, leaving me leaning against Minos since my legs decided they didn’t want to hold up my weight anymore.

“Try to convince me again that it’s not my cock that you want,” Minos said as his hand fell from my mouth.

“It’s biological,” I insisted, trying to yank away from him, but his hand cupped my pussy, holding me more tightly against him.

“If it was just biological, you’d fuck someone else,” Minos insisted as I tried like hell to ignore his cock pressing against me. Because it never mattered if he’d already given me an orgasm; when I felt him, I needed him.

“I can’t.” The words were out of me before I could think better of them.

“Can’t,” he repeated.

The memories burst into my head unbidden, as raw and vulnerable as they had been when I’d just been a kid experiencing them.

I didn’t think Minos could actually, you know, see the memories like I saw them, but there was no way he missed the emotions as they hit my system all at once.

Excitement mingled with nervousness.

Discomfort mixed with the first hints of pleasure.

Then shock, confusion, guilt, and shame.

“Baby…” Minos murmured.

“That’s private,” I insisted.

“How old were you?” he asked, ignoring me.

“Seventeen. I could have killed him.”

“And after him?”

I needed to move away. I needed space. Physical, yes, but also emotional.

The last thing in the world I needed was to form any sort of emotional connection with Minos.

Everything was messy enough.

“Once you break the bones of three separate, innocent men at the beginning of things heating up, you give up.”

“You mean I’m the only one you’ve ever been able to—“ he started, and even as he said the words, I could feel the soft tickle of his wings as they tried to close around me.

“Stop it,” I snapped, grabbing his wrist hard enough to hear a crunch as I pulled his hand out of my pants.

He didn’t cry out.

He didn’t complain at all, in fact.

When you healed as quickly as he did, I imagined you learned a long time ago not to be dramatic about your injuries.

“The past is the past,” I told him, turning around and yanking up my chin. “All of that is in the past. This is professional now. Nothing else. That is never going to happen again.”

“I’ve heard that before,” Minos said, shrugging, but his eyes were intense.

“I mean it this time.”

“Baby, you always do,” he said, taking a step toward me, ducking his head down so his lips nearly brushed my forehead again. “Until you don’t.”

And with that, he was gone.

Alone, I automatically tried to slam that wall back down before I remembered our deal.

No walls.

Not even when I just needed a few minutes to regulate my chaotic emotions.

Leaning back against the wall, I closed my eyes and sucked in a slow, deep breath, counting to seven, then releasing.

Over and over until everything in my head felt a little fuzzy thanks to the extra oxygen.

Then and only then, I moved out of the alley and headed back to The Academy.

All I knew was we needed to find and deal with this demon as quickly as possible.

Because the entire afternoon as I went about meeting my mentees and doing a little training with them, I could feel Minos teasing into my mind, taking not only tidbits of my day that I didn’t mean to show him, but also bits of, well, me as well.
