Promises: The Next Generation (Bounty Hunters 5) - Page 78

He murmured encouragement in Kell’s ear as he lewdly pulled one side of his smooth cheek apart and pressed his thumb firmly against his tight bud. Kell’s face morphed into a look of exquisite pain as he ground his hard dick into Ty’s abs. He could do nothing but watch in rapt fascination.

“Oh God, I’m gonna come so hard. Unngh, Ty.” Kell moaned just before the first jet of his release landed somewhere close to Ty’s throat. Kell cried his name as he spilled over and over his hand, his come oozing between the deep valleys of Ty’s stomach.

Kell rode it out as long as he could, sliding his softening cock along Ty’s pelvis, rubbing his seed into his skin. “That felt so good.” Kell slumped forward and lazily kissed him on his jaw, resting his head in the crook of his neck. He confessed so sweetly, “I needed that.”

How could Ty deny him? They lay there for a few minutes when Kell shifted and felt Ty’s cock was still pipe hard. “Mmmm.” Kell teased him, reaching down and gripping his bulge.

“Damn, you’re so bad.” Ty pumped into Kell’s palm. He groaned in sweet anguish, “Got me all off my game, shorty.”

He was just about to go for the button of his own jeans when he heard a car door slam. He gently moved Kell off his lap and righted himself. When he looked out of the single window in his living room he saw a man in baggy jeans and an oversized bomber jacket walking up the block. He kept creeping towards Ty’s building, his ear pressed to his phone. He was trying to be inconspicuous, trying to creep but he wasn’t good at it. Ty recognized him. He was one of the men from Black Rock’s crew.

Ty looked back at his heart splayed on his couch, relaxed and sated. Disoriented. Fuck! He had to get him out of there. He felt the pressure, but he wasn’t frantic, “Come on. We’re leaving.”

Ty was already on his phone scheduling a Lyft to pick them up at the church a block over. He grabbed the small duffle out of his closet and hurried to put what he’d come for inside . With Kell in the bathroom cleaning himself off, Ty went to his safe and swiftly keyed in the combination. He reached in and pulled out his silver and chrome Desert Eagle and tucked it into the front of his jeans.

Kell came back in the room, appearing more coherent as he slowly paced the small area in his bedroom. Ty knew his partner could recognize what was going on. They had trouble. Kell looked as if he was mentally readying himself.

Damnit. He was never supposed to put his heart in harm’s way. He hadn’t even married him yet and he’d already made a grave mistake. He’d let his flesh rule his mind and his actions. He never wanted Kell to have to see him react. But because he was with him and he smelled like sex, Ty couldn’t organize and calculate calmly. Any other time, when he’d encountered a problem he handled it with surety and precision. Eliminating any rage, hostility or senseless emotions and taking down his problem with ease. However, this was too personal. If Black Rock was coming for him now, he’d meet nothing but pure fury.

“You can’t think like that,” Kell said, standing in front of him as if he’d read his thoughts.

For the first time he was shook. Afraid. If anything happened to Kellam, that’d be the end of him.

“Remember who I am, please. I’m more than just the man you’re going to marry. I wear your jewels. I’m your knight, remember? If my king is in danger, tell me.”

Fate had paired them for a reason. Ty had to trust in that.

He touched Kell’s face and quickly told him what had happened the day before he’d come to work for Duke.

Kell

As they crept down the hallway toward the back exit, Kell could feel Ty’s nervous energy wafting off him like heat waves in the Sahara. He’d admit he was wired too. Ty was his world already. If someone was coming to do him harm, they’d have to get through him. Which wouldn’t be easy. He wasn’t scared, but he was on edge. A man who ran the block like he was the Devil—using fear and torment—was coming for them. Kell didn’t have his firearm with him but he didn’t need it. He had his demon’s daggers. He’d send each of those bastards to Hell two at a time.

They jogged down the back stairwell and burst out of the back door, moving along the deserted street. Kell pushed his scarf down and unraveled it from around his throat so he could breathe evenly. He double-timed his steps to keep up with Ty’s long strides. It was dark out, but not late, time didn’t matter.
