Nothing Special V (Nothing Special 5) - Page 72

Steele gave him an inviting look before he finally responded, “Me, too.”

“How about an appetizer? You said you liked shrimp.”

Tech nodded. “I do.”

“Wanna share a couple orders of the cocktail?”

Tech took a sip of his water, nodding. He was suddenly nervous and his mouth felt as dry as dust. It had felt like Steele was so far out of his league at first, but as Tech got to know him over the weeks, he began to realize just how amazing they could be together. It was as if the man didn’t know how dangerous he was. Tech was still reeling over the sparring match he’d seen that afternoon between Steele and God. The man was incredible. Tech found himself wanting to be pinned under him, helpless and writhing.

“What are you thinking?”

Tech jumped at Steele’s deep voice, feeling like he’d been caught with his hands in his pants. Though it was chilly out, he could feel the warmth of embarrassment licking up his throat. Steele’s sharp gray eyes locked in on it and Tech shivered under the strong glare. Jesus. Before he could answer Steele’s question the waitress returned with their drinks on a small tray. She set Steele’s short tumbler of amber liquor in front of him and Steele passed Tech his frosted mug with his beer already poured in it.

“Are you thinking of starting with one of our delicious appetizers tonight?” The waitress looked expectantly between them.

Steele answered for them and Tech watched Steele reach in his inside coat pocket and pull out a pack of those sweet cigars and a silver Zippo lighter with the Grim Reaper on it while giving the waitress their starter order.

When she left, Steele lit the cigar and took a deep pull, narrowing his eyes when he blew the smoke out of his nose and mouth. After drinking a quarter of his drink without so much as a grimace, he turned and faced Tech again. He wanted to jump up and straddle Steele right then and there, darn whoever decided to turn and watch.

Steele’s mouth curved in a knowing leer. “Never mind. I think I know what you’re thinking.” Steele pulled on the cigar again. A hint of the fragrant aroma making its way to him. He was never one to get into the habit of smoking, but he always thought it looked sexy. And Steele wasn’t smoking a typical Marlboro, the slender brown cigar looked hand rolled and smelled intoxicating.

Tech couldn’t hold it anymore. He grabbed the back of Steele’s neck and pulled him the few inches that separated their mouths and kissed him forcefully, tilting his head to get a better angle. He didn’t ease up the pressure until Steele slid that whiskey-flavored tongue inside his mouth. Tech’s dick hardened and filled to capacity as he swooned in the erotic aroma of sweet tobacco and top-shelf liquor. Tech moaned inside Steele’s mouth and felt him react, pulling him closer with one arm and deepening the kiss. He shuddered, and it wasn’t from the cold. He needed Steele to take him so badly it was killing him. Tech reached down and squeezed the rigid bulge between Steele’s legs, already imagining it spreading him wide open.

“Easy, baby,” Steele whispered huskily after breaking the kiss. “You don’t want me coming just yet, do you?”

Steele turned to look around, maybe to see who was watching, but Tech didn’t care. He hadn’t had sex in… Jesus… he wasn’t sure how long. Way too long. He pressed his forehead against Steel’s jaw, trying to calm his raging libido. Even though Steele had shaved, his cheek was still rough with prickly salt and pepper stubble. Tech gave him a soft kiss and burrowed further into the crook of his neck, lingering close to where Steele had dabbed his spicy cologne.

“You’re going to get yourself in trouble,” Steele growled, reaching around and easing his fingers inside Tech’s waistband. He couldn’t go far, but the tips of his gun-calloused fingers grazed the top of his seam and Tech let out a combination whine and moan, while he tried to mold his body to Steele’s entire right side.

The waitress came back with their appetizers and placed them on the table. “Are you ready to order your entrees?”

Steele hadn’t removed his fingers, but from where she stood she couldn’t see exactly where they were, and Tech felt a surge of naughty excitement flood his body when Steele reached a little farther and used his middle finger to tickle him… however, the feeling it gave Tech was far from funny. Steele didn’t let on what he was doing as he asked the waitress to give them a little more time. When she walked away, Steele turned back to him, that same smoky passion blazing in his eyes. “I want in here,” he groaned, caressing the top of Tech’s ass.
