SWAT Ed: Fox & Bull (Nothing Special 8)

To his relief, Fox leaned back into his chest. He dragged both hands across Fox’s shoulders, kneading at the large knots and tension that had formed out of nowhere. What the fuck did you see out there? That question was on the tip of his tongue, but he set it to the side and moved Fox’s needs to the forefront. Even though his cock was thickening as it nudged Fox’s wet skin, he ignored it.
“Tell me what you need,” Bull croaked, the sight before him killing him. He lowered his head and pressed his lips to the side of Fox’s head. “I’ll do anything.”
Fox slowly lifted his head and turned in his direction. His eyes were closed, his emotions shuttered off. There was a deep wrinkle creasing the center of his brow that Bull wished he could rub away with his touch, but that was a pain that resonated from someplace far down that he couldn’t reach. He cupped Fox’s rough cheek and tilted his head up, meeting zero resistance as he touched their lips together. Please talk to me. Fox turned away when Bull released him and placed his head back in the bend of his elbow.
Bull got some of his own bodywash, squeezed a large amount onto his palm, and began to massage it into Fox’s upper back. He heard a satisfying moan that gave him some much-needed encouragement as he reached around and rubbed over Fox’s firm chest. He began to breathe faster, and Bull nuzzled behind his ear, trying to just be there. I’m here, Fox.
Fox seemed to relax gradually under his touch, but Bull was beginning to think he wasn’t going to trust him with whatever was wrong, when Fox finally spoke.
“Dom.”
Hearing Fox’s shattered voice almost made him stop massaging, but he worked his way up to Fox’s neck and dug the pads of his thumb into the base of his skull. He wasn’t going to interrupt.
“You have no idea how long I’ve wanted this.” Fox shook his head. “All I’ve ever wanted was someone to touch me like they cared when my world spun outta control. Not someone that went in the opposite direction because it was too much to deal with.”
“You’re mine,” Bull whispered. “Or did you already forget?”
Fox gave a hint of a smile, and Bull almost wept with relief. “No. Of course I didn’t.” Fox turned in his arms and gave Bull that hug of reassurance he’d been seeking.
He tried not to squeeze him too hard, but he was positive he’d failed when Fox grunted and shifted against his chest, digging his fingertips into Bull’s hip bone. He could feel Fox’s hard dick jabbing at his thigh, and as much as he wanted to reach for it or drop to his knees and take it into his mouth, he didn’t. This was their bodies’ natural reactions to each other, but Bull didn’t need to be animalistic and act on it every time.
Fox glanced up at him from staring at his chest, the water pelting around his neck and shoulders, the steam billowing thick and dense between them. “Dominic. I don’t want to leave. I swear I don’t.”
Bull frowned. “Then don’t.”
“What we have going, what we’ve started… I can’t let it end.” Fox breathed heavily, his eyes widening as if he was beginning to panic. “I can’t let this go. This is all I’ve ever wanted. And it’s not fair to see my friends with it every damn day but denying myself of the same fucking thing.”
Now Bull was starting to worry. Leaving! “Fox. If you want to stay with me, then stay.” Bull damn near groaned. “As long as you’re doing it for you, if it’s what you really want… then stay.” Please fucking stay. I’ll beg you. I’m not too proud. Not when it comes to you.
Fox took a deep breath, then met Bull’s eyes with his own. “I need you to know, Dom, that if I leave… I swear.” Fox rose higher and kissed him. “I will be back.”
Those last four words almost took Bull down. He didn’t know what expression was on his face, but it must’ve been one that Fox didn’t like. He squeezed those intense eyes shut and shook his head.
“I need you to believe that, Bull.”
Bull swallowed, lowering his hands to Fox’s biceps when he realized he was clutching him. He told Fox when he stepped into the shower that he’d give him whatever he needed. And this was all he’d asked. Bull would do it. “I do believe you.”
“I’m gonna have to go back, okay?” Fox’s chest deflated against his. “Even if it’s just a few days.”
“Why?” Bull forced out, his lungs feeling as if they were on fire.
Fox cut his eyes to him before they moved away, staring into the fog and making what he was about to say seem ten times scarier. “Because if I don’t go, he’ll come and get me.”
