“What do you mean?”
“Did you schedule yourself for anything? A spa day? A day out on the ocean? A dinner cruise?”
“I have no idea what you’re talking about,” she said.
“Wow. Okay. So there are these things called ‘attractions.’”
Ash was hit square in the forehead with a golden-covered strawberry.
“How does it feel to be hit with five hundred dollars?” Kallie asked.
Ash chuckled as he launched the strawberry back at her.
“Hey!”
“You started it,” Ash said.
“Oh, it’s on.”
Kallie picked up her cupcake and ran at Ash. She smeared it all over his face as he tried to wrangle her wrists. She threw her head back and laughed as Ash lunged for her, wiping the very expensive dessert all over her face and neck. Kallie picked up the shrimp cocktail and dumped it over Ash’s head, and he stood there as he dripped with cocktail juice.
Then he picked up the rest of the bottle of wine and poured it over Kallie’s head.
The two of them stood there, laughing and panting, and covered in the island’s most expensive meal. He watched Kallie’s cheeks flush, her hand sliding through her hair.
“That was good wine you just wasted,” she said.
“Really? Because you just slathered me in fifteen hundred dollars’ worth of edible gold,” Ash said.
“I need a shower now.”
“So do I.”
Then, a thought occurred to Ash.
“Follow me,” he said.
He held out his hand for Kallie and the meal they were eating was soon forgotten about. He led her into her bedroom and headed straight for the bathroom. Toward the jetted tub that was temperature controlled. He sat her down on the edge of the bathroom counter before he drew them a hot bath. The steam filled the room, immediately relaxing his body. He adjusted the temperature and waited until the water got high enough, then he kicked on the jet and turned to Kallie.
“Fancy a bath?” he asked as he held out his hand.
Kallie slid from the counter, and he helped her into the tub. The two of them snuggled in together, his arms wrapped around her form. He grabbed a cup and slowly poured the warm water over her hair, watching as the wine slipped down her body. Droplets of water-infused alcohol sliding between the valley of her breasts. The jets kicked up bubbles that shook her body against his. She leaned into him. Moaned with every cup of hot water he poured over her body.
He washed himself off, his eyes watching as the edible gold tinted the water around Kallie’s body.
“Feel better?” he asked.
“Mmm, much,” she said.
Ash put the cup away and wrapped his arms tightly around Kallie.
“How often do you venture to St. Barts?” she asked.
“What do you mean?”
“In your travels. Is St. Barts a place you frequent?”
“Ah. Yes, it is. I’m here for maybe four months out of the year?”
