“You okay, sweetheart?” he said as he spared a single finger to trail it down the length of her spine.

Again, she shivered. “I’ll be better when you get that thing out of your pants.”

“I can do that,” he said as he stepped out of his denim. He eyed her round bottom on display, her stockings stretched like a rubber band between her ankles and her skirt hiked around her hips. “I love seeing you like this, stretched out on the table and your beautiful ass on display.”

He ran his fingers down her spine, and she made a small noise in her throat that almost sounded like a plea.

“You’re a fucking tease,” Chrissy growled.

“True,” he murmured as he reached around and pinched her already-hardened nipples.

She moaned. “Damn it, Saks!”

“Want it, do you?” He licked her spine, working his way up to her neck, and nibbled the back of her neck. “Say it.”

“Yes,” she said with a hiss of breath.

“How much?” he said as he lodged his length between her cheeks. Damn. He’d forgotten the pleasure her soft skin gave to his throbbing cock.

The thought that they were doing this without a condom was about to blow his mind. Inside her bare had to be heaven.

Chrissy moved a hand toward her panties, but he pushed away. “None of that,” he growled.

“Saks!”

“How much do you want it? What will you give?”

“Fuck you!” He loved the little bit of anger in her voice. It was hot.

Just as an incentive he took his cock in hand and guided the tip to her entrance, dripping and hot. He took a deep breath and pinched the bottom of the tip, because if he didn’t he’d come right there. The little bit of pain winged through him, fighting off his orgasm, but he knew he couldn’t hold back much longer.

“Soon, darling,” he said, as evenly as he could. “And I tell you, Chrissy, you’re the hottest woman I’ve ever seen.” He gave a shallow thrust and hissed out a breath. It was a shock how hot and soft her walls were, like the sweetest kiss ever given. It was work not to drive further into her and take the heaven she offered.

Saks had to have her. He must. But there was also one thing he knew. He wasn’t going to let this woman get away from him again. She was his, even if she was stubborn about recognizing it. This was it. This was the woman for him, now and always. Getting her to agree was the problem. He pulled back, even though her walls clenched as if trying to prevent him from leaving.

She hit her hands on the felt of the table.

“Tell me you want me.”

“I did.” She gritted her teeth.

“Tell me you’ll marry me.”

“What?” she squeaked.

“Though,” he said as he pushed the tip of his head in once more, “why I would want a woman who is so stubborn, I don’t know.”

“You’re evil,” she snapped.

“Maybe a little devilish. But all’s fair in love and war.”

“Shakespeare again!”

“Another reason I love you, Christina Marie Serafini. That you know that.”

“You love me?”

“Haven’t I made that clear? I’ve never sent roses to a woman in my life before you.”
