Maybe I should invite Noa to that too? I wanted him to meet my other friends. He’d met some of my vanilla friends from my dance squad, and now was the time for him to quit saying no to everything that included Mclean members.

“Babe!” I called.

“Yeah, babe!”

I grinned. “What are your hours like on Wednesday?”

I heard him shift in the La-Z-Boy in the living room, the leather squeaking. “Lemme check. Ummmmmm. Late shift at the studio—two to nine PM. No folding shirts at Hollister—woo-hoo.”

I unwrapped two blueberry muffins and put them on two plates. “I’m having lunch with a few friends from Mclean. You wanna come with?”

“Uh, sure…? If you want me to.”

“I want you to. Isela will be there too.” He knew her. They were in the same community.

“Okay. Who is she friends with at Mclean?”

“Shay, I think. River and Reese’s new partner.” I grabbed the toast as it popped up and quickly spread butter and jam on the slices.

He turned down the volume on the cartoons on the TV. “You should quiz me on all the people in your community. I’ve heard so many stories this year…”

I chuckled. Maybe not all the members; we had nearly 150 of them.

My phone buzzed again, and I checked it to see a message from Shay.

Cam…? Are you starting drama in the community by inviting KC’s stepson? :-D

I grinned slyly. A little bit of drama wouldn’t kill KC and Lucian.

I responded to him, avowing my innocence, before I poured two glasses of chocolate milk and declared breakfast ready. With a tray in my hands, I left the little kitchen and joined my boy in front of the TV, and I got comfortable next to him in the cushy chair.

“This is the best breakfast ever,” Noa exclaimed. Then he raised the footrest so the tray could sit on our laps. He was very particular about blankets too. We had to sit on one and have one over us. “By the way, I think I know who all the founding members are. Wanna hear? And will you blow me if I get them all right?”

I laughed and grabbed my toast. “Sure. If you get all eight names right, I’ll blow you right after breakfast. If you don’t get them all right…”

He nodded. “I’ll blow you.” He sat a little straighter and started ticking them off his fingers. “River and Reese Tenley—they’re the twins who came up with the idea, and the house in Mclean is theirs.”

Correct.

“Then there are Lucas West, Colt Carter—they’re together—and Lucian too.” He hummed and took a bite from his muffin. “I wanna say…Penelope?”

I nodded, not worried in the slightest. I’d barely spoken of the last two. Well, actually—

“And Macklin!”

Yeah, him.

“Fuck.” Noa put on his thinking cap and guzzled some chocolate milk.

He was too cute. He’d be even cuter in a few minutes when he swallowed my cock.

The screen on my phone flashed with a message, and I read the preview quickly. It was just Reese, confirming Noa’s membership—once he’d filled out some paperwork.

It shot a thrill of excitement through me. I was finally gonna unite my two worlds.

“For the record,” I said, “Reese is welcoming you to House Mclean. He’s gonna send you a few forms to fill out and email back.”

Noa whipped his head my way, and his mouth popped open.

I leaned in and kissed his nose. “Get ready to face KC.”

CHAPTER 2

Cameron Jacobson

The first weekend in September, we stepped off the Metro and walked toward Georgetown, where we’d meet our ride. Noa threaded our fingers together and held my hand pretty hard, the only indicator that he wasn’t wholly unfazed by today’s plan.

I knew he wasn’t nervous about meeting new people. In fact, I’d rarely seen him nervous at all. At the same time, he wasn’t looking forward to seeing KC again.

At least he’d been properly introduced to my subbie friends now.

“Fuck. I think I forgot my toothbrush.”

“I brought it.” I squeezed his hand. “I booked us the coziest guest room too. Whenever you want a break, we’ll go upstairs.”

He smiled faintly and nodded. “It’s this planning thing I’m a little anxious about.”

I’d figured. He was looking forward to the party tonight, but before then, we were gonna help the Founders with some details for the next Game. It was gonna be huge, and everybody had to pitch in.

“Is it possible to win this game or whatever when we haven’t participated in the first two?” Noa asked.

“Definitely,” I replied. “The whole thing was River and Reese’s idea. They do something new every year, just to mix it up a bit with the regular party nights. They know people are busy and can’t attend all the events.”

“So the first game was a takedown event, right? And then the cage fighting last month.”

“Yes. And not that many have signed up so far.” If I remembered correctly, only eight or nine couples had participated in the takedown event. “The twins are both Sadists and picked two fairly hard-core events as the first Games, so I think we’ll see an increase in the next one.”
