Crimson Kiss (Onyx Assassins 5) - Page 58

“Why not?” I picked up the handcuff from where it dangled. “You really should run, Avi.” It was the most genuine thing I’d said to her all night.

“Run from what?” she challenged. “You? I’m not scared of you.”

“Maybe you should be,” I whispered.

“You would never hurt me.” Her chin rose.

There she is. That’s my girl. Her stubborn streak was fucking inconvenient for tonight’s purposes, but damn, was it hot.

“There are so many ways to give out pleasure, Avi. Pain is just another method.”

She looked at the bed, then across the room to the spanking bench, barely glancing at the other rack before pinning me with her stare. “Why did you bring me here?”

“To scare some sense into you.” I put my arms out and spun slowly. “This is me, Avi. I’m only gentle for you. I’m only careful for you. You want to know what the rest is? It’s here. It’s you cuffed to this cross while I do whatever I fucking want to you. It’s your legs spread, ready to accept whatever I want to give you, dripping and wet for hours while I deny you just because I like to look at your pretty little pussy.”

Her lips parted, and her cheeks flushed with color.

“It’s you strapped to that bench in the corner, unable to move, to pull back, your mouth open wide while I fuck myself into your throat for however long I feel like. Maybe I’d stop the first time you gagged, or maybe I’d just keep going so I could feel you swallow around me. Maybe I’d wipe the tears from your cheeks while I ruined your mascara, or maybe I wouldn’t bother.”

She swallowed.

“Run away, Avi. It’s been fun, but I highly doubt this is how you’d like to spend your last week as a free female.” I motioned toward the door even though it killed me, because there was a part of me that wanted her just like I’d described, and that scared the shit out of me. “Run now and let’s end this before someone really gets hurt.” I meant every word of that plea, just not in the way she thought.

She ran her tongue over her lower lip, and I bit back a groan. I wanted that tongue in my mouth, on my skin, swirling over my cock as she sucked me deep.

Keeping her eyes locked with mine, she kicked off her heels and backed up two steps, putting her back against the center of the cross. Then she raised her arms to the cuffs and cocked a rebellious eyebrow at me.

Fucking brat.

“What the hell do you think you’re doing?” My pulse skyrocketed and my cock throbbed.

“I figured the cross was a good place to start, since we’re already here. But if you’d rather I suck your dick on the bench, that’s fine, too.” A mischievous smirk lifted the corner of her lips.

I barely kept my eyes from blowing wide, but I did. “That mouth.” I shook my head and clucked my tongue. Fuck my life. This was not going as I’d planned.

Her smirk slipped. “Go ahead, Hawke. Try and scare me. There is nothing you could ever do that would change the way I want you.”

“You might regret that choice when the sun comes up and you’re trapped here with me all day.” My chest radiated with that reckless, uncontrollable ache. That was exactly why I loved her. She was the only person who had complete faith in not just my abilities, but me.

“Do. Your. Worst.”

Fuck.

This was how it was going to be? Fine. I was an expert actor in this room, and for her own good—for her, I’d put on my best performance.

Silently, I secured her hands in the cuffs. Her pulse fluttered and her breath hitched as first one, then the other clicked and locked.

“Shouldn’t you have undressed me first?”

“You only speak when I tell you to,” I ground out through clenched teeth.

Her mouth snapped shut.

I leaned down so I could look into her eyes. “The only word you have to say is no, Avi.” I hit my knees in front of her and spread her thighs with my hands, forming her to the X shape of the cross. “No safe word. No code. A simple no from your lips and this all stops.” I wanted to scare her, not traumatize her, for fuck’s sake. “Tell me you understand.”

“I understand.”

I secured one dainty ankle to its cuff. “Tell me what you have to say in order to get out of this.”

She shook her head.

“I’m sorry?” I clipped her other ankle in.

“If I say it, you’ll stop. I’m not giving you any excuses.”

“It’s your funeral, Princess.” I unsheathed my favorite blade and rose, flipping it end over end. “We are going to have to do something about all this clothing.” I flicked the blade over her blouse, nicking the silk between her breasts. Then I cut the damned thing off her. She gasped as the fabric fluttered to the floor. The gloves came off next. Poising the tip of my blade at the waistband of her pants, I glanced up at her flushed cheeks and bright eyes. “You should remain very, very still, right now. I’d hate to cut your flawless skin.”
