No One But You

The white noise.
My thoughts.
The guilt.
The anger.
Every.
Single.
Thing.
She sighed like she’d been starved, and my lips were the best meal she’d ever had. Her tongue licked across my bottom lip before she sucked it in between hers and grazed it with her teeth. Her breath catching as my hands cupped the back of her head and pulled her to me. Her knees met the green and grey speckled floor as she knelt between my thighs and opened her mouth as I licked across her soft lips.
My hands were shaking, and my chest felt too small for my heart and lungs combined.
A myriad of feelings washing over me as a deep seeded joy unfurled in the very marrow of my bones. It was something I hadn’t felt in so long…years.
It was reprieve and ecstasy all in one.
Her breaths were shaky and fast as her chest heaved with every inhale and exhale.
I just had to taste her. My mouth was watering with the need to the point that my stomach ached with a hunger for her that was eating me alive from the inside out. Overwhelming me.
I licked into her mouth, and it was the sweetest thing I’d ever enjoyed, she was sweeter than I remembered her to be.
How the fuck did you compare anything else to this?
Her moans were low and long as we explored each other’s mouths. Her hands closing around my wrists like she needed to ground herself to something. To me. It was desperate and sweet and freeing. It felt like despite my heart hammering in my chest and despite my ribcage squeezing my lungs to the point that it was painful…I could breathe.
Like, really breathe. Mountain top, early morning, clean air kind of breathe.
Painful, refreshing and reviving. Pure.
She pulled away, gasping for air like she’d been holding her breath underwater. Never loosening her grip on my wrists, she opened her eyes and the heated look she gave me had my heart stopping and starting.
My blood bubbling and rising like mercury on the hottest day of the year.
My mouth drying like I was on fire.
She steadied her breaths and bit her lip, “I’ve craved that for fifteen years. From the moment you last kissed me, I’ve waited for this.”
So had I, even if I hadn’t consciously acknowledged it until now.
She sighed. Her eyes darting between mine and my lips.
“Me too.” I breathed, before I pulled her closer and deposited another kiss on her lips. “I’ve wanted nothing more than this. Than you.”
She just smiled. Her forearms resting on my thighs as her fingertips grazed my stomach. It was one of the best moments I’d had in a long, long time and I wasn’t ready for it to end. I don’t think I could ever be ready for it to end, and I certainly knew that I never wanted it to.
“Quincy…”
“Yes, Jamie?” She rasped.
“What’re you doing today?” I asked as I cupped her face in my hands.
She shrugged as she leaned her cheek deeper into my palm. “I don’t know.”
