He pulls back on his knees, his length easing out of me a little and the messy, blood tinged sight should make me feel dirty. It doesn’t. If anything, it makes me lose some of the bashfulness. Leo’s right, things can’t get any more intimate than this. Than me giving him my virginity and him taking it.

“I want yo

u to fuck me…” I watch his cock pulse at my words and because seeing his reaction like that makes me feel somewhat powerful, I add, “deep.”

“Your majesty,” smiling, he lowers me gently, “your wish is my command,” he says pushing inside me slowly, firmly.

He takes one of my hands from his chest and laces it with his, beside my head, as he thrusts and rolls into me. Filling me to the point my skin feels so tight around my body, that for the first time I don’t feel like my bones are too small or like my skin is too big.

I feel like I am perfectly tailored to myself. And it’s the best feeling I could ever have. Anything more is a bonus, and there is so much more.

“You’re so fucking beautiful.” He groans with every thrust. “So perfect. I love your tight pussy.”

I love you.

I tell him wordlessly as he works the pleasure from every single one of my sparking nerves.

I love you so fucking much.

I repeat as he drives relentlessly into me, until I am so raptured that I can’t even make sense of the words. Until they blur and become nothing but fire and light.

I can’t move with the pleasure still working its way through my body and with Leo’s dead weight on me. The only thing I can do is hold onto him as tight as he is holding on to me. And I can’t help but silently beg him…

Please love me too.

Chapter 25

Leo

I can’t bring myself to move or say anything. The room is bathed in bright light and all the noise coming from the hallway tells me it’s late morning. I’m normally up before the sun has fully risen, but today I have no want to part with these sheets.

Cassie’s fingertips run up and down, between my shoulder blades as she hums. Her voice is as soft and raspy as her fingertips are inquisitive and gentle.

Her lips trace one line, pausing briefly before she presses a kiss to the other, causing my breathing to stutter.

“It looks like someone’s cut off your wings.” She murmurs softly, pressing another kiss to my nape.

“Nope.”

“Yep.” She presses another light kiss. “It looks like they were shorn off right here.” Her fingertips trace the lines again.

“I’m not an angel, so…”

Shrugging behind me, she breathes into my ear, “You sort of are my guardian angel…you saved my life.”

Something about the way she says that irks me. I don’t know if it’s the light and blasé tone or the fact that she’s idealising my actions. Making me out to be some sort of hero, when I am the farthest thing from it.

Her eyes furrow at my scowl when I turn to face her. “Good morning to you too, Neat Freak.”

Wriggling closer, Cassie lifts her head and as if this is some rehearsed moment, I slip my arm underneath without thought. She rests her head on my bicep with a contented sigh and I curl her into my chest.

She feels so good right here that I’m already begrudging the moment we have to leave this room.

“What happened to your back?” Hooking her leg over my thigh, she asks, curling her arms over my forearm.

I don’t know if I’m ready for this conversation yet, so I evade her question altogether. “I didn’t save your life. I lost my shit.”

Shrugging again, she says, “Same thing.”
