She winked at him. “So, if you like it a lot, why are you being a pain in the ass about finding yourself a woman?” She turned around, placing her hands on his shoulders, and swaying to the beat inside her head. “Huh? Why?”

“Because they don’t appeal.”

“Women are women.”

“And you’ve fucked a few, I take it?”

“Hell, yeah, I’ve fucked a few. I told you, Pie, I don’t hold back from pleasure.” She gripped his hips, giving him a little grind of her pelvis. “You should lighten up, you know.”

“I am light.”

“We could completely compare notes.”

“You really have fucked a woman then? You’re not telling little porkies?” he asked, cupping her cheeks, tilting her head back. His gaze for a split second landed on her lips, but he quickly averted it before staring into her eyes once again.

“I don’t lie to you, Pie. Yes, I have. You ever made a woman come three times in one night?”

“Is that all you’ve got?”

She chuckled at his cockiness. “We’re supposed to be finding your Miss Right, and the only thing I can come up with right now is that you want no one. I don’t get it.”

“I want someone.”

“Okay then, tell me again what you need. ‘Kind, sweet, willing to do your laundry and cook’ is totally not working. You won’t go on dating websites, and you’re picky about who you’ll even try to chat up in bars. You’re lame, Pie. I need some help.”

His hands moved down her body, cupping her hips, and she tried to keep her thoughts strictly professional. When she and Pie had first started this, there had been an attraction. Of course there had been. Pie was a guy, and she was a woman.

Even though she loved sex and had even dated women, she did love men and cock.

“I want a woman who is willing to be up for anything. Always wants to have fun even when we have to be serious.”

“Okay. That’s not too hard to find.”

“She’s got to be willing to accept the club and not get jealous when a hot piece of ass joins to help some of the brothers.”

“So, a pushover or a doormat?”

“No, someone who is willing to trust.”

“We really need to sign you up for a dating site.”

“You keep complaining about my complete lack of help, but you’ve not actually done any better. I want you to know that.”

“Please, that guy you set me up with last week was so boring. His entire life he’s watched ants. I mean, seriously, how did that even get past you?” she asked but smiled as she did. Her date had been a bust, but Pie had been there to pick up the pieces.

Chapter Two

“You asked for a sweet, kind, caring, straight kind of guy. That dude was into females, and he never killed an ant in his life,” Pie said. The man had also been incredibly boring, but that had just been a plus for him. He figured the date would end really fast, and lo and behold, it had.

“I asked for a straight-talking kind of guy. Not if he was gay or not. In fact, I wouldn’t mind someone who is bi, with an open mind, that is.” She used his hands, and they held each other out, spinning around in the parking lot.

Lindsey was clearly buzzed.

“Don’t you have work in the morning?” he asked.

“I do, but that’s fine. I’ll drink lots of coffee, and besides, I don’t really do much other than smile and pretend that I’m happy.”

She worked as a receptionist in a plastic surgery clinic, and she hated her job. She’d mentioned many times about quitting, but as of yet, she still hadn’t. The job paid good money, enough for her to have her own place and to pretty much do whatever she liked.

What he hated was seeing the sadness in her eyes after she just got off a shift. He didn’t imagine being around people who wanted to change their looks would do much for self-esteem.

“You’re not getting away with it, you know.”

“Getting away with what?”

“My very bad date.”

“I’m doing better than you.”

“Oh, please, give me a break. That is so not the case. You just refuse to date anyone. How can I find you someone when you won’t even go and talk to a girl in a bar?”

“I don’t need to talk to a girl in a bar.”

“Hate to break it to you, buddy. You’re going to need to talk. You see, you live in a world that requires you to.” She winked at him. “Not all women are mind-readers and know what’s going on in that dirty head of yours.”

“Ha, do you need what is going on in my dirty head?”

She stopped twirling around, and he held on tight as she bowed her head back, looking up at the stars. With her distracted, he could look at her amazing body.
