The Initiation (Darkness Within Duet 1)

She stared at the tiled wall. Without her father, she found it easier for her to think. With the guys around, she didn’t have to think about anything. They helped to ease the pain within her.
Slowly, she turned around to face Draven, forcing herself to keep her gaze on his face.
“Was that so hard to do?”
“Not as hard as I thought it would be,” she said.
He took hold of her hand and placed it on his chest.
The ink on his arms and body surprised her. “I didn’t think you could get ink at our age?”
He laughed. “I know a guy that knows a guy. I can have anything I want done. All you got to do is say the word, and it’s yours.”
“That easy?”
“You’ll learn that it is always that easy. So easy, all the freaking time. From ink to a shoulder to cry on. To someone to dance with. We’ll be there for you. No matter what.”
Her palm lay over his heart, and she gasped as he touched her, his hand over her heart. She didn’t move or look down. Staring at his chest, she wondered if he saw her … if he liked what he saw.
Tilting her head back, she watched him. He stared right back at her.
“I love the size of your tits.”
She burst out laughing as he wrapped his arm around her waist and pulled her in against him. His body pressed against hers.
She gasped as he moved her up against the cold tile wall.
“There’s a lot of things about you I like.”
“There is?”
“Yes. I like your hair. How dark it is. I don’t know it what it is, but I can always find you in a crowded room.”
“It’s kind of a weird thing to like.”
“Your eyes. They tell me a story that you won’t allow yourself to share.”
“I think that’s enough.”
“Your tits and ass. I like watching your ass as you walk away from me. Hannah doesn’t have many gifts, but I do like seeing your butt. It’s the only thing I like though. I want to hide all of you so no one else can see what you’ve got to offer.”
“This is crazy.”
“I also like that you don’t try to impress me. You’ve never shaken your tits and ass to gain my attention. You’ve always been different.”
“I’ve always been good.”
“You’ll always be good. You’ve just got to learn to embrace a little mean in your life.” He spread her legs, and she gasped.
“I’m not ready,” she said.
“I told you I wasn’t going to fuck you.”
“You also didn’t mention coming into the shower with me and yet here we are.” She put her hand against his chest.
His cock pressed against her stomach, and she tried not to panic.
“I know when to keep it in my pants.”
“It’s not in your pants though. It’s very much out of it, and I can feel it.”
He smiled. It was the kind of one that made her think of dirty things, of things she shouldn’t be thinking about.
“Don’t panic.” His lips brushed her neck, and she closed her eyes against the onslaught of pleasure that hit her hard. “Kiss me.”
Tilting her head back, she gave him the kiss he so clearly wanted, moaning as his tongue filled her mouth. Gripping his shoulders, she forgot about their nakedness and instead, basked in his kiss.
“I’m really bad at this,” she said, breaking from the kiss.
“Really? I think you’re actually really, really good.” He took possession of her mouth again. Seconds passed before he finally broke the contact. “Besides, we can practice a lot.”

Draven woke up the next morning and found Harper gone. The side of her bed was clearly made, and he couldn’t help but smile at that. She always tried to keep everything so neat and tidy around him.
It was sweet as fuck.
So was making out with her last night.
He’d made out a lot of times, and usually, he didn’t much care for it. When it came to Harper though, she completely blew his mind of expectations.
The scent of coffee called to him. Climbing out of the bed, he went and took a piss, washed his hands, and prepared for the day of school.
He figured they would have to go today. He couldn’t keep on stealing her away, no matter how much fun it was. She wanted to graduate, and he didn’t want to take too much from her. Her future belonged to them. The least he could give her was her graduation.
Pulling on his jeans and tugging on a shirt, he headed downstairs.
Axel, Jett, and Buck were already eating their cereal at the kitchen counter.
Harper was dressed as well, her raven hair falling all around her, and he watched as she spread peanut butter on some toast.
One look at him, and her cheeks flushed that pretty shade of pink he loved.
