“So I am.” I pushed the laptop away and reached over, then dragged her on top of me.

She put up no fight whatsoever, and she nestled her knees either side of my hips, getting comfortable.

My cock hardened instantly, and I cupped the back of her neck, pulling her mouth to mine so I could kiss her. She moved her hips over my erection, running her hands up my body, and whispered, “How long until we have to get ready to leave?”

I checked my watch. “Twenty minutes.”

Eva slid her hand between us and deftly undid the button of my trousers before tugging my shirt free, raising her hips at the same time. She ran her teeth over my lower lip as her hand slipped beneath my boxers and she brushed her fingertips along the side of my cock.

She shifted, pulling her lips from mine, and moved back. In two swift movements she’d pulled my boxers and my trousers down. My cock was now free, and Eva wrapped her fingers around the base of it. Slowly, she lowered her head until her lips brushed the very tip.

Pleasure shot through me when she wet the tip of it with her tongue before she drew it into her mouth. I closed my eyes and dropped my head back against the headboard, and my hand snaked down, gently holding her head as she teased and tortured me with her lips and tongue.

Fuck, she was a magician with that mouth.

It didn’t matter that we had twenty minutes—if she kept that up, I was going to be done in less than five.

“Eva,” I groaned.

She didn’t let up, and I was entirely at her mercy as she worked my cock. Every muscle in my body tensed as my release built, and at the very moment I thought I couldn’t take it any longer, Eva drew me deeper into her mouth, and my orgasm hit me hard and fast.

She took every last bit of me, slowly pumping her hand along my cock, and I closed my eyes as I breathed through it. I pulled her over me when she released me, and I dragged her mouth to mine, flicking my tongue against hers.

I could taste myself, and her legs trembled against my hips as we kissed.

I flipped her over onto her back, making her laugh.

“What are you doing? We’re going to be late.”

I pressed a fingertip to her mouth. “I don’t care.”

“Matthew!”

I slid between her legs and pushed her skirt up over her hips, exposing her lacy red underwear. “You didn’t really expect to do that and get nothing in return, didn’t you?”

She gasped as I ran my fingers over the fabric of her thong. She was wet, and in any other moment, I’d lift her hips and fuck her. I wasn’t in the state to do that right now, though, so I pushed the scrap of material she called underwear to the side and moved, dropping my face between her legs, and my tongue right onto her clit.

I didn’t give a fuck that we were going to be late.

We were ready to go when I said we were ready to go.

And it sure as hell wasn’t going to be until my future wife had adequately come in my mouth.

CHAPTER FIVE

EVA

I hated flowers.

Hated them.

I genuinely couldn’t give a flying monkey’s fuck if I had lilies or roses or whatever the hell else the florist was saying to me. It really had all been a bunch of gibberish, and there was a reason I’d almost chickened out and left it to Gabriella to pass over the mood board and organise it all.

There was a reason she was my maid of honour.

Actually, that wasn’t the flowers. It was that we’d made a pact when we were thirteen that we’d all get to do the duty once, so Gabi was mine, I would be Adelaide’s, and Addy would be Gabi’s.

Still, it was a very big reason I was glad she was my maid of honour. Granted, I’d probably wrangle her into helping Adelaide with that, too, but Gabi was the one who was obsessed with flowers, so it worked out well.

And the flowers were everywhere. Fucking everywhere.

Why were they in my room?

Weren’t they supposed to be in the church or downstairs?

Why did I need four bouquets of flowers in my room?

If they didn’t belong to me or my bridesmaids, why were they here? What were they doing?

When was this hell going to be over?

The last three weeks had passed in what seemed like not even one entire blink of an eye. As the preparations for the wedding had sped up, I’d found myself thrilled that I was no longer working. There was no way I’d have been able to run the gallery and handle all this at hotel with my mother and her seven thousand questions on an hourly basis.
