I don’t think the red roses need any explanation.
I’m picking you up at 8pm tonight. Dress sexy, as always.

“I’ve got nothing to wear.” I wailed in panic as Robyn read the note over my shoulder.
“I can sort you out, come on let’s get you ready.”
Robyn yanked me up off the sofa and towards the stairs before I could utter another word.
Chapter Fifteen
I showered, shaved and beautified myself then went into Robyn’s room where she had laid out a plethora of dresses and outfits she’d deemed sexy and ‘Ella worthy’. I was instantly drawn to a little black halter neck dress with a plunging neckline. It would skim my ass but I knew Joe would love that. My curls were actually behaving themselves tonight so I fluffed them up and pinned clips into the sides to keep it neatly behind me but keeping the hair down look I knew guys loved.
I went for sexy smoky eye make-up in greys to complement my blue eyes and finished with delicate blush and natural looking pink lip gloss. A spritz of my favourite perfume and I was ready. Well my body was, my mind was all over the place with nerves, all jittery and talking ten to the dozen but not making much sense.
“Calm down Elle, you’re gonna give yourself a heart attack.” Robyn joked, but I felt like I could hyperventilate at any moment.
The front door bell chimed and I headed down the stairs carefully in my skyscraper black Louboutin’s. Behind the door stood a huge mountain
of a man dressed smartly in a black suit and cap. Robyn raised her eye brows at me then thrust a large tote bag into my hands.
“What’s this for?” I asked.
“Just what he asked me to pack for you.” She winked and pushed me out of the door before I could question her further. She followed me excitedly down our path to where the guy mountain held open the back door of a black Bentley. I slipped into the luxurious leather seat, to be honest it felt more like an armchair than a car seat. ‘How the other half live hey’ I thought as I looked around the stunning interior.
We drove for about fifteen minutes before pulling in front of what looked like a posh office block. The driver opened my door and took my bag, and as I walked cautiously towards the glass doors, not having a clue what was going on, Joe appeared from inside, a warm smile on his gorgeous face and I melted. This man could turn me to jelly with just a smile, I was so fucked.
“You are just too beautiful,” he said planting a delicate kiss on my cheek, “Excited?” he asked.
“More cautious than anything,” I replied looking up at him questioningly, “Where the hell are we?”
“You’ll see,” he grinned and turned to the driver, “Sam can you sort out the details and check in the bags.”
Check in the bags? Was this a hotel? Was he going to spend the night devouring me again? My stomach lurched with the anticipation of it all. Joe took my hand and held it firmly as he led me down a corridor and into a mirrored lift that zoomed us up and opened to the outside air.
A helicopter stood ready in the middle of what I would have assumed was a car park if it wasn’t for the beast of a machine sitting in the middle of it. A young girl dressed in a uniform held a tray of what looked like champagne out to us, and Joe took one to hand to me, then picked up the other, his other hand never letting go of mine.
“Are we getting into that?” I looked up at him with fear in my eyes and he frowned at my lack of enthusiasm.
“Don’t you like flying?” he asked.
“I’m scared of heights.” I said sadly.
He gulped his sip of champagne down in shock and turned to look at me, “Why didn’t you tell me?”
“Well it’s not something I announce to everyone I meet Ace. Why would I assume you’d need to know something like that? It’s not like helicopter rides are part of my everyday life.”
He looked disappointed and I felt bad for him, he was obviously trying so hard to impress me. He didn’t realise he had no need to. I was lost to him already.
“Don’t worry, I’m a big girl I’ll cope I’m sure. Anyway you might cure me of my fear tonight, I’ve never been in a helicopter before.”
He smiled and wrapped an arm around my waist.
“I’ll hold you if you get scared.” He whispered and I glanced up at him through my lashes and smiled.
“Thank you.”
