I’d spent the last few days stuck in a loved up bubble of Luca. Today he had no choice but to go to work, the underworld wouldn’t rule itself I supposed. Still I missed the cuddles and…other stuff as soon as he left. It made being on lock down so much more interesting (to say the least).

“Someone sounds cheerful.” Freddie said as he came into the kitchen where I was singing along to Pink at the top of my lungs.

“Well my incarceration has taken a turn for the better recently.” I winked at him and bit my bottom lip remembering the awesome shower orgasms I’d had an hour earlier.

“Speaking of incarceration, do you have any idea what’s going on with that Fred?” I had been meaning to bring it up with Luca but every time I even mentioned it he cut me off and distracted me with…well himself.

“You know as much as me little sis, but let’s just say I’m going stir crazy right now so if it isn’t sorted by the weekend I’m taking matters into my own hands.”

“I know what you mean and I am with you one hundred percent.” As much as I was loving my time with my boys, I needed to get out.

A mobile phone ringtone sounded and Freddie pulled out his phone from the back pocket of his jeans.

“What’s up?” Freddie nodded along then after a few ‘yeahs’ and ‘sure’ he passed the phone to me.

“Hello?”

“Chloe I miss your beautiful face, come in to the club with Freddie this afternoon and surprise me.”

“Well it’s not a surprise if you know I’m coming Luca.” I teased.

“I won’t know the time you’re coming so that’ll be a surprise.” He tried to argue.

“Okay, I suppose I can go with that. Plus the field trip will stem the boredom of my day of lock down.”

I rolled my eyes over at Freddie as he drank milk straight from the carton and started stock piling food under his arms to take back to his room.

“I’m sorry baby, but you know it’s all to keep you safe. It won’t be long.”

“It better not be or Freddie and I will be staring in our own series of prison break.” I hung up the phone and passed it back to Freddie.

“Let me know when you’re leaving, I think your brother just gave me a booty call.” I laughed and headed out to the pool for some much needed rest and relaxation.

Three hours later I was primped to perfection and dressed in the cutest short skirted Dolce and Gabbana summer dress, off the shoulder, ivory and decorated with red peonies. I felt flirty, carefree and ready for a bit of teasing. My chocolate curls were tied into a high ponytail that reached right down my back and a pair of red kitten heels finished off the look beautifully.

Freddie used his covert driving expertise to get us from the house to the club, where Leo and Marco met us in the car park. I had no idea what Freddie’s urgent task for the day was, but he was insistent that I go to the bar with him for a drink before he headed off to do what he had to do and I did my ‘surprise’ visit to Luca’s office. We both ordered pink gin and marvelled over how nice it was to see the inside of a different building.

“Getting cabin fever guys?” Said Rosa the bar manager as she restocked the fridges.

A young red headed girl about my age was wiping down the counters and making a rubbish job of appearing busy and not eavesdropping. She looked like she’d dressed ready for her shift in tighter than tight red dress and spiked heels. She glared at me then frowned to herself, did she think I was a mole come to steal the clubs secrets? Or some kind of time waster?

“You could say that Rosa.” Moaned Freddie, as he downed his drink then patted me on the back like one of his dudes and headed back out in the direction of the car park to join Leo and Marco.

Rosa went off into the back of the bar leaving me with the suspicious red head scuttling around like a fly. I hopped off my stool and made my way over to the door leading to the stairs up to Luca’s office.

“Sorry you aren’t allowed back there, management only.” She smiled a smug smile that made my back go up instantly.

“I don’t think management will mind me going up, excuse me.” I replied sternly trying to push past her little body standing in my way.

“I don’t care what you think, you’re not getting up there lady.” She folded her arms over her chest and stood her ground. What was up with this girl? She was seriously testing my patience now.

“Unless you have an appointment I suggest you head on back to Gina’s…knocking shop.” She sneered at me now, looking me up and down like I was a cheap whore come to sell myself.
