Inking Up Love (Insta Love Shy Girl Romance 4) - Page 11

He had always been a perfect gentleman, but seeing the other side of him was exciting. It felt like he wanted to devour me. The muscles of his shoulders were twitching under my hands, his cock was throbbing inside me, and his tongue was invading my mouth perfectly. His thighs and hips tightened, and I felt a surge of electricity run through him.

“Oh fuck,” he growled. “Leah, I love you…” I felt liquid heat spurting inside me with incredible force, triggering another climax as I squealed and squirmed under him.

“Don’t stop,” I begged, rocking up against him while it felt like light was traveling through my nerves. My second orgasm was even longer than the first, as I felt like I was falling, every muscle tensing and releasing as I was out of control.

“Mmm, come for me baby,” he murmured into my ear. “I love you so much.”

We finally stopped moving, breathless and twitching. Grant sat up and pulled me into his arms. His lips came to my ear. “Was that too hard, baby?”

I grinned at him. “No.”

His smile lit up my insides. “When you relax and let go, you’re a feisty little thing.”

“Shh, that’s a secret,” I giggled. The truth was, I’d never been so relaxed around a man, ever. It was like discovering an entirely different side of myself, and I couldn’t believe how much I liked it.

He nuzzled my face, scratching me just a bit with his beard until I giggled and pushed him away.

“May I take you out Friday night?” he asked. “Maybe we can go to an art gallery, or check out a new restaurant.”

“I’d love to,” I said. Then I paused, thinking. “Oh, I’m sorry. I’m booked this Friday night.”

Sitting up straighter, he pretended to glare at me, but it just looked cute. “Are you telling me that you have a date with another man?”

“Don’t be silly,” I said. “My office has its holiday party in January because December is always slammed.”

“Does everyone get wildly drunk and take photocopies of their butt?” he asked excitedly. When I shot him a look, he chuckled. “I’ve never worked in an office, but that’s what happens in all the movies.”

“No, it’s not really that interesting,” I said. “I try to make small talk awkwardly with the few people I know well enough to chat with, then I take off after about an hour.”

“Is it staff only?”

I rolled my eyes. “No, half the people there are showing off their husbands and wives. It’s kind of creepy.”

“Would it make it easier for you if your boyfriend was there with you?”

“Oh. Um, I’d never thought about that.”

“Okay,” he said gently. “Why not take a minute to think about it? Would it relax you if I were there holding your hand? Or would it take the focus off you chatting with your coworkers in a different environment?”

He was so thoughtful. So focused on making me comfortable. But I knew how uptight most of the people in my office were. What would they think of this hulking guy covered in tattoos? Did anyone care about that anymore? Would they judge me? It was all too much to think about, especially since we’d barely started dating.

“Honestly, I don’t think you’d have a good time,” I said. “It’s pretty boring. I wouldn’t want to put you through that.”

“Don’t think about me, baby. Think about you. But if you don’t want me there, that’s fine.”

“Yeah, maybe next time.” I kissed his cheek. “Thank you for understanding.”

“Hey,” he asked. “Is this a fancy thing where people dress up?”

“Yes.”

He grinned, but his eyes looked tight for a split second. “Can I pick you up and take you out for a drink af

ter? I’d like to see you in a saucy dress.”

“It’s not very saucy,” I giggled. “They’re super straitlaced there.”

Grant looked at me very seriously. “But you’re not, baby. Are you comfortable there?”
