Lying under him, twitching and oversensitive, I pulled Nolan’s face to mine, kissing him while I tried to catch my breath.

Then suddenly his shoulders tensed. “What’s wrong?” I asked.

“I don’t have any condoms,” he said, looking at me sheepishly.

“Oh. Um, I’m on the pill,” I said quietly. “For the past two years, to straighten out my cramps.”

“I had a physical and every test six months ago, and I haven’t touched a woman for a couple of years now.”

I just nodded, still not quite believing that this was happening.

Nolan looked down at me with the most seductive, hopeful expression I’d ever seen. “Baby, do you want me?”

I nodded. “Yes,” I breathed. “I do. It’s just…”

“You’re nervous?”

I nodded as he kissed my forehead.

“I know, sweetheart,” he said, slipping off his pants. “I’ll be gentle.”

I nodded again, reaching to wrap my arms around his neck. He shifted, and I felt his hot, hard shaft against my hip bone. A shudder ran through me as desire began to overtake me.

But he pulled away. “Baby, if you’re not ready, it’s okay. I felt that shiver.”

Shaking my head, I smiled up at him. “I’m nervous, but I need to feel you.” Spreading my legs, he shifted, taking hold of his length and rubbing the tip against my wet lips. Another deep shudder ran through me, but this time he was watching my eyes, and saw it wasn’t from nerves. Nolan smiled, then peppere

d my lips and cheeks with kisses as he gently eased inside me just a bit.

I gasped, then his searing kiss pinned me to the bed. I felt so delicate under him, and every time he looked into my eyes I felt completely precious. As he started to move inside me, slowly stretching me open, a rush of feelings hit me at once. This was so stunningly private, this moment of my body accepting his.

There was a lot of pressure, and a bit of a strange pinch, then he paused, letting my body open for his. Our breath combined as he kissed me open-mouthed, both of us nearly panting, our pulses racing. Then he began moving gently, so careful with me. It was too much pleasure to process. It was almost torture. I had no point of reference, no grounding as I floated in this perfect moment.

“Yes...” I heard the word so faintly on my breath. “Please...”

I heard his near-growl, his hand clenched under me, tilting my body to his. His other hand under my shoulders, clasping me against him as he slowly rocked into me completely.

I was swimming in emotion, drowning in pleasure, and my little chirping cries filled the room. “Nolan, oh... Yes...”

His body was grinding against mine, hitting every spot where I needed him most. His eyes met mine again, and he looked overheated, overwhelmed. “Sharolyn, baby,” he breathed, “You’re so tight, so soft for me.”

“Yes, for you,” I murmured, unable to think. Lost in a tornado of raw emotion and physical sensations I couldn’t understand.

Everything began drawing inward, tightening. I felt the heat begin to compress, then knew it was going to flash outward at any moment. “Nolan,” I gasped, then I was falling – my energy shooting outward as I clenched every part of him, shaking and squealing.

“Yes, baby... Oh fuck, I can feel you...” His low, choked groan filled the tiny space between our lips as he tensed, then I felt liquid heat flowing inside me, filling me completely.

The room smelled earthy and warm, his weight shifting to my side, his arms around me. “You’re amazing, Sharolyn.”

I couldn’t speak, just kissed his scruffy cheek, then he held me as we dozed for a bit. I was more relaxed with him than I could ever have imagined.

“I’m going to grab a glass of water, baby. Do you need anything?” Nolan asked after a while.

“No, thanks.”

I’d heard Jenny complain about men who seemed to be allergic to the kitchen, so it was nice that Nolan didn’t expect me to wait on him. He was just so easy to be around. I didn’t know why I could let my guard down with him, or why I felt so comfortable. It was amazing.

He came back and set two glasses of water on the bedside table. “Just in case,” he grinned. Then he handed me two small boxes that had been tucked under his elbow. “Open the green one first,” he said, sitting close and putting his arm around me.
