Whispered Curses - Page 31

Her pussy was gripping me so tightly that I could tell she was about to explode. “Should I slow down?" I asked, raking my teeth along her collarbone.

"Never."

"Should I be more gentle?”

"No."

Gripping the back of her hair with my right hand, I tilted her lips to mine, kissing her so hard she whined under me. "You know what I need to hear. Tell me what you want or I'm going to stop."

She was so close that she was twitching. Her fingernails dug into my skin. "Don't stop," she whispered. "Keep fucking me hard. Keep driving that delicious cock into me until I come."

I did as precisely as she commanded, growling, "Then what do you want me to do, baby?"

"Fill me," she choked. “I need…" She couldn't finish her thought. It looked like her body was being shaken from within as a hot flush ran up her cheeks.

Feeling her pussy contracting and releasing around me, I lost my mind, driving deep through her climax. As my cock began to fire thick ropes of cum deep inside her, I growled into our kiss, “You're perfect, Eden. I had no idea how much I needed you."

Then as my hips spasmed harder, I made a completely inhuman sound that I didn’t recognize, but it made Eden’s eyes light up with bliss.

~ Chapter 17 ~ Eden ~

* Eden’s *

On some level, what we had done was a tiny bit wrong. Eric's place of business was not an appropriate place for sex. Even though there was nobody around, and the door was locked, it was a bit sketchy.

Maybe that's why it felt so damn incredible. As we got dressed and Eric led me to the ladies' room so I could freshen up a bit, I couldn't stop grinning. Which made Eric grin. Which made me smile even more.

We were infinitely dorky together. There were so many things about us that just clicked.

I found myself actually questioning Nana’s Knowing . It certainly wasn't scientific. It wasn't logical. We hadn't really tracked how many times she had said something that could have been a coincidence. We’d never really tracked how many times something had come true. Or didn’t.

When it came to matters of the heart, it was easy to believe in the mystical. It was too easy to give in to fear.

As I met Eric back in the lobby and we headed to the elevator, I wondered if I had believed Nana's prophecy as an excuse to put armor around my heart. There was no way to know if I was ready for a relationship yet. There was no way to know if Eric was really the one. But the

only way I would find these things out is if I gave him a fair chance.

Eric waved good night to the security guard, leading us out of the gorgeous lobby and back onto the street. Then he stopped, examining my eyes. "Our genius plan to take things slow took a wrong turn again. Are you okay with that?"

He seemed instantly relieved when I laughed. "Yes. I guess so. We just seem to have an effect on each other, don't we?"

"Absolutely."

A fire truck went by, and we stopped talking for a moment since there was no way to hear over the siren. The red lights flashed in Eric's deep eyes. It really did make him look a bit devilish. That satisfied smirk made him appear truly wicked. The crucial thing I had to admit to myself was that I dearly loved it.

I appreciated the way he was trying to bring me out of my shell. I liked the way he wouldn't take no for an answer when he knew something was right. Because he also analyzed my every reaction, ready to stop if I said a word.

He truly cared about me. A lot. A heck of a lot, for someone I barely knew. There was something strangely magical in the pull we had toward each other. I needed to listen to that more than something my grandmother once muttered.

A devil was a creature who did evil things. I couldn't imagine Eric doing anything evil. Not ever.

When the siren faded away, the sound bouncing off the office towers, Eric asked, "Where do you live? Would you like me to walk you home, or we could get a cab?"

I'd seen his glamorous home. If we were truly getting to know each other in this extremely fast forward fashion, he might as well see my place. "It's not too far, we could walk to my apartment," I said. I took his hand and we began to walk east.

"Don't worry,” Eric said with a chuckle, "I don't expect to stay over. I know that you wouldn't want the devil in your bed."

We stopped at a red light, and I surprised myself by turning to him, running my fingers up the back of his neck as I pulled his lips down to mine. He instantly wrapped his arms around me, and suddenly we were the only two people in the city.
