Daddy’s Billionaire Chef - Page 27

I came so hard I saw fragments of orange light, as the thick, hot ropes of my release filled her over and over.

“Yes,” she moaned into my mouth. “I can’t believe how good that feels.”

After we caught our breath, Julia rolled off to lie beside me.

“Thank you for forgiving me,” I said, kissing her temple as we snuggled together.

“Thank you for understanding that I have to put myself first.”

“I’m glad that you do. You’re absolutely right.”

“Keep saying that and we’re going to be very happy together,” she laughed brightly.

“We belong together, baby,” I murmured, kissing her shoulder, then turning my head to catch her lips in a slow, sensual kiss.

“Mmm, yeah…” she murmured.

“I can’t wait to take all of those relationship steps that I’ve never even considered before,” I said. “Showering you in jewelry. Taking you out on fancy dates, and little trips before we take some larger ones. Talking you into moving in.”

Her nose crinkled adorably. “Making sure that my father lik

es you.”

“Don’t worry. He threatened to kick my ass if I ever hurt you.”

Julia burst into laughter. “Wow. Good for him.”

“For the holidays we can go to—”

She clapped her hand over my mouth. “How about for now we take it one week at a time?”

“Anything you like, sweetheart.”

“Good boy. Just use that answer all the time.”

“Yes, dear.”

“Boca... what?”

“Bocadillo tortilla española,” Matt repeated patiently. “It’s basically a potato omelet sandwich with a bit of spicy tomato sauce.”

Even though it smelled incredible, I raised my eyebrow suspiciously before taking a bite. The sun’s warmth was already getting stronger, even though it was only ten a.m. in Barcelona. Our hotel balcony overlooking La Rambla was high enough to catch a bit of the morning breeze, as I took a sip of strong café cortado.

“Wow. It’s incredible.”

Matt’s grin lit up my heart. After a whirlwind wedding just ten months after we’d met, he insisted on taking me on vacations whenever he had a pause in his schedule, or had to do various media appearances.

I would have thought the constant travel would be exhausting, but quickly discovered that travel was very different and much easier with a ridiculously wealthy husband. Private jets, assistants, chauffeurs. I never touched my own luggage. My stylist even did my packing.

It was honestly over the top, but it made Matt so happy whenever I told him I was too pampered.
