The Man She Should Have Married - Page 35

NIA FELT HERSELF catch fire. His thumbs captured her face. She felt his mouth brush over hers, gentle at first and then harder, his tongue parting her lips. His hands were sliding over her body, pulling her across the car so that she was straddling him.

The space was so small that her shoulder scraped against the window.

He was very hard. She could feel him through the layers of their clothing, feel the rawness of his desire.

Heat was flooding her limbs.

She kissed him back clumsily, her mouth seeking his, her hands winding around his neck.

He drew her closer, fumbling with the front of her jacket, tugging her arms free.

She felt his hands slide under her jumper, his fingers warm and decisive against her bare skin, gasping out loud as he caressed her stomach.

Heat rippled across her body as his hands splayed against her back to find the clasp of her bra, and then his palms were cupping her breasts, the thumbs finding her nipples.

Hunger reared up inside her.

She moaned, wanting more of his touch, more of his mouth, and as though he could follow her thoughts he tipped her head, baring her throat to his lips and then, lowering his face, taking one nipple into the heat of his mouth.

Breath shuddering, she shifted against him, pushing down against the hard press of his erection, wanting, needing, to appease the pulsing ache between her thighs. And then she was pulling at his belt, her fingers yanking at the leather, releasing him—

‘Nia—Nia, I don’t have any condoms.’

Condoms.

Her eyes fluttered open as the word echoed inside her head.

‘I mean, I wasn’t expecting to—’

His face was taut with concentration and she could tell from the tremor in his voice that he was holding himself in check, expecting, waiting for her to call a halt. All it would take was one word.

‘I’m on the pill.’ She hesitated. ‘Are you…? I mean—’

‘You don’t need to worry.’ He took her face in his hands. ‘I don’t normally do this.’

‘I don’t either,’ she whispered.

He kissed her deeply and then, lifting her hair, let his mouth find her throat.

‘So are you…? Do you still want to…?’

To answer him she reached down and took him in her hand, her fingers closing around his solid, straining length.

He pulled her closer, his breath jerking against her mouth, and then he kissed her hard, his hands pushing beneath the waistband of her trousers and panties, yanking them down.

She was lifting her hips, trying to help him. Her head bumped into the roof of the car but she didn’t care. Nothing mattered except dousing this heat that was both necessary and merciless.

His eyes tangled with hers and she felt him push up and push through. And then he was inside her, hot and hard and sleek, and she was reaching for him blindly, moving with an urgency that robbed her of thought, leaving only a shapeless elemental craving.

The car was rocking from side to side. It was sex at its most basic. A frenzied assault on their senses, their mouths and hands frantic.

‘Look at me, Nia.’

His voice was hoarse, his breathing staccato.

She squeezed her thighs together, chasing the heat, feeling Farlan grow even harder, and then she tensed, muscles clenching, nails digging into his jumper, body melting around his as he stiffened and shuddered inside her.

Heart pounding, she lay limply against Farlan’s chest, her face buried in his jumper, breathing in the warm scent of his body.
