Jayme & Tripp (Game Wardens 1)

Jayme cleaned himself up, then pulled his underwear back up. He hoped he was making the right decision. He hoped that things didn’t get fucked up between them. He liked having Tripp as a friend and partner. He didn’t want that to get messed up.
“Stop thinking so hard.” Tripp smirked as he walked back into the living room.
He flushed. “Sorry.”
“Stop worrying. We’ll take this one day at a time and see where it goes. Maybe we’ll sleep together a few times, and it’ll fizzle out. We can go back to being just friends if that happens. No emotions will be involved.”
He nodded. “Okay.”
“All right. I think that’s enough excitement for one night. I’m heading to bed,” Tripp said, then yawned. He stretched his big body out, then gathered up his clothes and headed up the stairs without another word.
Jayme sat there for a few more minutes, going over what had already happened in his mind. He had his first experience with a guy. It was hot as fuck. He wanted more. More of Tripp. Maybe Tripp was right, maybe they’d sleep together a few times, get it out of their systems, and that would be it. He had a feeling that wasn’t the case. He couldn’t see himself getting tired of Tripp. He guessed only time would tell. In the meantime, he was going to chill and let things play out.
CHAPTER FIVE
Jayme
JAYME TRUDGED down the stairs in just a pair of gym shorts. Someone was knocking on the door at eight in the morning on his day off. He didn’t know if Tripp was up or not, but he was tired of the banging. He yawned and raked a hand through his hair, as he unlocked and opened the door.
Standing on the porch were two women, both blonde with honey colored eyes that matched his partner’s. They looked like mother and daughter. He figured it was safe to assume they were Tripp’s mother and sister. They smiled brightly at him.
“Hi! You must be Jayme! I’m Tripp’s mom, Donna,” the older woman said, and stuck out her hand.
“Nice to meet you,” Jayme replied, shaking her hand.
“I’m Elianna, Tripp’s sister. And this is Tripp’s nephew, Noah,” the younger one said, motioning to the baby in the car seat she was carrying that he didn’t even notice before.
He shook her hand too. He then stepped aside and motioned for them to enter. “Come in.”
“Sorry for barging in so early, but it’s Tripp’s birthday and we’re here to make him breakfast,” Donna said as both her and Elianna held up bags of food.
He frowned. “It’s Tripp’s birthday?”
“Yep, turns thirty-one today,” Donna chirped and headed for the kitchen.
“Never mentioned it to me,” Jayme grumbled.
“Jayme, will you be a doll and go wake his ass up for me?” Donna grinned as she went about unpacking the grocery bags full of food, while Elianna took the baby out of the car seat.
“Yes, ma’am.”
He left the kitchen and went upstairs. First to his bedroom to grab a shirt, then to Tripp’s room to wake him up. Jayme walked into his partner’s room to find him sprawled out on his stomach, bare ass on full display. One leg was pulled up so that his knee was level with his hip. Tripp’s sheet was covering his other leg, and his head was shoved under his pillow.
Jayme’s stomach flip-flopped. His mind drifted to last night and how Tripp fisted both of them. If Tripp’s mother and sister weren’t downstairs right now, he’d be crawling up onto that bed and doing some more experimenting.
He walked over to the bed and gave Tripp’s ass a swat. “Hey. Wake up.”
Tripp mumbled something as he shifted around, then lifted his head out from under his pillow. His hair was an absolute disaster, and his eyes were barely cracked. “What?” he rasped.
“Your mother, sister, and nephew are downstairs making you breakfast for your birthday. Thanks for telling me it’s your birthday, by the way.”
“My mom, sister, and nephew are downstairs?” Tripp asked sleepily as if he didn’t quite understand.
“That’s what I said.”
“My birthday?”
“Apparently so.”
“Shit.” Tripp dropped his head down to his pillow and groaned. “Why so early?”
“No fucking idea. But get your ass up and come downstairs.”
Tripp pushed up to his elbows and rubbed his face roughly. “I’m coming.”
“That’s what he said.”
Tripp chuckled.
Jayme left Tripp and headed back downstairs. He walked into the kitchen to find Donna and Elianna cooking away at the stove. Donna glanced over her shoulder at him and smiled. She was a pretty lady with shoulder length blonde hair, and a heart shaped face. She had the same dimples as Tripp. Tripp was the more masculine version of his mother.
“Is he getting up?”
“Yep. He’ll be down in a few.”
“Great. Do you have any orange juice in the fridge?” she asked.
“No.”
“Darn. Tripp loves orange juice and I forgot to grab some.”
