Jayme & Tripp (Game Wardens 1)

“Maybe they don’t think you’d approve?”
“What if I didn’t? At least they wouldn’t have to sneak around.”
“I don’t know, man,” Tripp muttered, shaking his head.
Jayme went and got a cup of coffee before sitting down next to him. Noah reached over and grabbed Jayme’s arm, then smacked it for good measure. Jayme stared down at Noah, a hint of a smirk on his handsome face. He knew Jayme didn’t want kids, but that didn’t mean he didn’t like them, right? Tripp picked Noah up and set him in Jayme’s lap. Jayme stiffened, but placed his hands under Noah’s arms to hold him so he didn’t fall.
“Tripp. I don’t do babies. Take him back,” Jayme said hoarsely.
“You’re fine. Just hold him so he doesn’t fall off.”
Jayme swallowed hard. Tripp realized Jayme was scared. “Tripp, really. Take him back. I’ve never held a kid in my life.”
“First time for everything. You’re doing great.”
Noah didn’t seem to mind, he just babbled away, ate his fist, banged the table, and kicked his stubby little legs.
“Don’t torture the poor guy, Tripp.” Elianna snickered.
“He’s doing great. If he can handle an alligator, he can handle a baby.” He grinned at Jayme, who was giving him a death glare.
He draped his arm around the back of Jayme’s chair and leaned in, so his nose brushed Jayme’s cheek.
“You look sexy as fuck holding a baby,” he whispered.
Jayme turned his head, his nose bumped Tripp’s. “You know what would be even sexier?” Jayme asked quietly.
“What?” he replied, his lips twitching because he already knew the answer.
“You getting this baby off my lap.”
He chuckled and put Jayme out of his misery by taking Noah back. Jayme blew out the breath he seemed to be holding, and physically relaxed. He held Noah up so that his little diapered butt was resting on his forearm. Noah’s hand found Tripp’s mouth and he pretended to eat it, making Noah squeal and giggle.
“And you thought I looked sexy?” Jayme chuckled softly. “I think you’ve got that in the bag.”
Tripp smiled. He had always liked kids. Never thought too much about having them though. It wasn’t something he needed, but maybe one day it would be nice with the right person. That person wouldn’t be Jayme though, because he was adamant about not having kids.
Donna and Elianna finished up cooking, then brought everything over to the table. They all dug in and had a relatively nice breakfast.
After breakfast, Jayme insisted on cleaning up so that Tripp could spend some time with his family; which was real nice of him. Tripp would thank him properly later.
“How have you been feeling, Elianna? Have you been taking your meds?” he asked quietly, rocking the sleeping Noah in his arms.
“I’m doing great, Tripp. I’ve been religious about my meds,” she replied. “I think these are finally the right ones.”
He sighed in relief. His sister was diagnosed with major depression a few years back and had struggled to find a medication that worked for her. He worried everyday that she’d end up like their father, who killed himself when Tripp was twenty-five. His dad suffered from depression also, and never found anything that worked for him. He couldn’t take it anymore and decided that the best way to end his suffering was to end his life.
Tripp was scared to death that his sister would find the same fate. However, she said she was doing well and was on her medication. The only thing Tripp could do was believe her and support her when she needed it.
His mom, sister, and nephew only stayed for another fifteen minutes before leaving. Jayme had gone upstairs to shower after doing the dishes. He wondered if Jayme was still naked. He took the stairs two at a time and stopped in front of the closed bathroom door. It sounded like Jayme was done in the shower.
The bathroom door opened just as he went to open it. Jayme jolted in surprise. “Jesus Christ, Tripp.” His hand pressed over his heart.
He grinned. “Sorry,” he murmured as his eyes raked hungrily over Jayme’s bare torso.
Jayme hummed. “Sure, you are.”
He stepped into Jayme, backing him up until he bumped into the sink. Jayme stared at him, wide eyed, his lips parted. Jayme’s breathing picked up as he realized what Tripp was up to. Yeah, Jayme wanted this, he was sure of it. He leaned in and kissed Jayme softly on the lips. He lingered for a moment before slowly kissing his way down to Jayme’s chest where he tortured his nipples for a minute. Jayme dropped his head back and moaned, his hands gripped the edge of the counter tightly.
He continued his decent, kissing and licking his way down the hills and valleys of Jayme’s abs; until he reached the knot holding the towel around Jayme’s slim hips. Jayme’s cock tented the towel, and he couldn’t help the smile that curled his lips. Jayme could never deny that being with a man didn’t turn him on, this was proof otherwise. Tripp tugged the knot loose and let it fall to the floor.
