Perfect Strangers - Page 63

“Fuck you!” She muttered trying desperately to maintain her hold on them.

“Come on, Myla. You have five now, only another three to collect,” he taunted in a sing-song-voice that had Myla firing imaginary knives at him from a distance.

Stalking towards him with a smirk, she dropped the rolls onto the top step, then went back down for the other three. She breezed past him with a wide smile, “Who’s the boss now, bitch?”

His eyebrows shot up and his head reared back, “Did you just call me a bitch?” He asked standing up, his frame towering towards her.

“It’s obvious you are my bitch, don’t deny it,” she replied coyly.

With a small shake of the head he crossed his arms in front of him and pouted. “I’ve been called some names in my time but I don’t think bitch is one of them.”

“You know what they say, Romeo, first time for everything,” she replied with a playful smile.

He lunged towards her, she screamed and turned around, trying hard to totter away from him in her heels as he chased her back towards the car. “Why are you running, Myla?”

“I don’t fucking know,” she shrieked at the top of her voice. She could hear him closing his distance as he strode towards her. Grabbing her arm, he flung her over his shoulder and she laughed like a hyena.

“Who’s the bitch now?” he goaded. He grasped her thigh with one hand and the other held tight on the hem of her dress to keep her covered up.

“You, you’re the bitch,” she laughed.

“Wrong answer, Myla” he laughed and playfully nipped at her bare thigh with his teeth.

“Put me down!”

“What the hell is going on out here?” shouted Victoria who was stood at the top of the steps with what looked like a small smile present on her face.

“Nothing, we are just having some fun. You do remember that word?” Kai asked.

“Put me down, Kai.” Myla whispered.

“Of course, I remember what fun is, Rhett. I’m not that much of an old stickler.”

“Could have fooled me,” muttered Kai.

“Are you two coming in the house or are you going to continue to play kiss chase around the driveway?”

Myla sniggered as Kai moved his hold on her. “We will be in in a minute. I’m teaching your daughter a lesson.”

“Good luck with that,” she replied, then turned and walked back though the door.

“I’m going dizzy here, can you please put me down?”

“Sure, sweetheart, all you have to do is admit you are my bitch and you can be set free.”

She slapped her palms against his back and wailed in protest, he slapped her butt in return. “This is kind of kinky, Myla. Are you ready to admit defeat?”

She let her body hang limp and didn’t reply, she steadily managed to slow her breathing down to shallow, and she waited.

“I can’t hear you, Myla…“Myla?” He snapped. “Shit!” He sank to his knees and carefully lay her down. “Myla?” He gasped as he began to check her pulse. Unable to sustain her silence any longer, she burst into hysterics.

“Now who’s the bitch?” She asked laughing. Her laugh died on her lips when she took in the thunderous look that had darkened his face.

“You think that was fucking funny, Juliet?” He gasped as he closed his eyes and moved away from her.

“I told you I play mean and dirty,” she replied airily. She clambered to her feet and smoothed down her dress. Her heart slowed when she glanced at him. His eyes looked wild and his breathing was erratic, he rammed a hand through his hair and pulled.

Shit, Myla you went too far. Taking a step towards him, she grabbed his shirt and pressed her cheek against his, his hands automatically slipped to her behind and rested there. “I’m so sorry, I went too far,” she whispered.
