The Half-Orc's Maiden Bride (Aspect and Anchor)

Agakor tilts his head, gazing up at me. "Do you mean what I think he'll say publicly or what he'll say in private?"
I can't stop smiling. Maybe it's the pregnancy hormones, but gods, Agakor is the handsomest man to me. Rough featured, sure, and his broken tusk and equally broken nose will never impress the ladies at court, but he just takes my breath away. I stroke his cheek, unable to resist touching him. "Both?"
"I think publicly he will be thrilled for us. Privately I suspect he will have…colorful language."
Colorful indeed. Chuckling, I lean in and kiss Agakor on the mouth. His thick brows go up at my affectionate peck, and I can tell he's trying to decide if this is an invitation for a quick tumble before dinner or if I'm just happy. I decide it's both and give him another kiss. "I found a new book to read," I say in a light, carefree voice. "It's up in the solar. I thought we might read it together."
"Is that so?" He squeezes my arse.
I nod with a straight face. "But if you're too tired after riding all day—"
"Never too tired for a bit of, ahem, reading," Agakor states, and sets me on my feet. He's up out of the chair a moment later and slings his arm around my waist. "Come, my lady, and let us read for a few quiet hours before dinner."
Quiet hours of reading. It takes everything I have not to burst into laughter, because I know the moment we get into the solar, we're not touching the book. His head will be under my skirts and I'll be riding his face until he has me crying out with pleasure. Just the thought makes me squeeze my thighs together tightly. "Have I told you today that I love you?"
"At breakfast," he says, lifting my hand to kiss my knuckles. My big husband gives me a lascivious look. "You can tell me again when you're on my face."
Oh, I plan on it.
