RAVEN

? ?? Never cared for what they know, but I know… ???

It was amazing how quickly my life had changed. I didn’t claim to know even a fraction of what I was going to experience with Chase and Sebastian, but I didn’t doubt for a second that my world was about to be blown wide open. I needed to try connecting with Leah again.

“Hey guys, do you mind if I try getting a hold of Leah?”

“Of course, you don’t need to ask permission for that. She can come over here if you want, or we can drop you off somewhere, just let us know,” Chase said, kissing my cheek.

“Thank you,” I said, pulling him down for a kiss.

I pulled out my phone to call her, but chickened out, opting to text instead.

Raven: Hey, Leah, are you around?

Leah: Hey, girl, I’ve been worried. You still pissed at me?

Raven:No, I wanted to apologize. I overreacted the other night.

Leah:Not really, I sprung the club on you, basically tossing you into the deep end without your floaties.

Raven:LOL A lot has happened in the last few days. Want to grab a coffee?

Leah:I have a date with Jason, but we could meet for brunch tomorrow at the café near your place?

Raven:Sure, 10:30 give you enough time for a catnap after a wild night of sex?

Leah:LOL That works, do you want me to swing by your place and get you?

Raven:Umm, I’m not actually there right now. I’ll meet you at the café.

Leah:I feel like there’s a story there, but you can tell me in the morning.

Raven:Okay, I’ll see you there!

I put my phone back on the table and breathed a sigh of relief.

“I take it everything went okay?” asked Seb.

“It did. I’m going to get together with her in the morning. Could one of you take me?”

“Of course, we have to go to the club anyway, so we’ll drop you on the way,” Chase said.

I stiffened at the mention of the club, wondering why the hell they would need to go there without me. I started wondering if I’d been foolish to believe them. Maybe they had another woman that was meeting them there. Seb seemed to sense the shift in my mood and laid his hand on my thigh. He and Chase exchanged a look and an almost imperceptible nod.

“What’s going on?” I asked, my eyes narrowing.

“We aren’t members of the club, little bird. We own it.”

“I’m sorry, what?”

“Seb and I own the club. That’s why we need to go there today.”

“Okay. I suppose that’s not actually a huge surprise. Wait, did you think I was going to be pissed that you owned it?”

“Well, kind of,” Chase shrugged.

“When I thought you were just randomly going there, I admit, I second-guessed myself for a second. You told me if we were going to do this thing, that we would be exclusive. That we wouldn’t play with anyone else. Sounds like I don’t need to worry.”

“That went a lot better than I thought it would,” Seb chuckled.

I leaned over and kissed him.

“It’s all good. Now, take me to bed.”
