Vengeance of The Fallen (Twisted Legends Collection 1) - Page 20

When my phone vibrates again, I know I’m going to have to make a move. Either I take her now or listen to Crow complain about delaying the plan. I don’t want to hear him lose his cool about this. The sooner we have her in our home, the quicker we can get the information we need, and make sure her father knows exactly what we did.

A smile graces my lips. It’s dark, nobody can see it. The guys consider me the serious one, but there are many things which bring me pleasure. This time, it’s the thought of the cameras in Lucy’s bedroom at home are something I’m going to revel in.

I can sit in the darkness and watch her. Something tells me this girl isn’t going to be easy to break. I know from listening to Falcon’s recollections she’s into some kink shit. I wonder how she’ll enjoy the three of us.

Making sure the cloth I have is soaked enough to knock her out, I make my move. My silent footsteps carry me right to her bedside where I stop for a moment. She is beautiful, too bad Crow will never allow her to survive this. If I had to be honest, neither would I. Watching her father’s evil acts has ensured nothing this girl does will save her life.

I lean in, running my knuckles over her cheek gently. She doesn’t stir, and I can’t help but smile. So comfortable, so at peace, she doesn’t realize the monster is right beside her. I press the cloth over her mouth and nose, pushing down hard.

Her eyes snap open, wide with shock, and her flailing arms try to attack me while her legs kick out, but she’s weaker than I am. My strength overpowers her easily, and when she slowly loses her fight, I chuckle. I can only imagine the number of curse words she’s spewing at me.

Her lashes flutter like a pretty butterfly’s wings.

Once she stops moving, I lift her delicate frame into my arms, and I make my way out of her home. She won’t see this place again. I take the back exit which offers me the cover I need. Once outside, I round the building and slink into the shadows with Lucille in my arms. Soon we’re at the trunk where she’ll sleep for the next hour on the drive to the house.

I should really put her in the backseat. I stare down at her body before I make my decision. Even if she does wake up, I’ll handle her whining. Grabbing a ball gag from my little bag of tricks, I bind it around her head. The small black ball fits neatly between her plump lips.

The sight of her makes me hard as fuck. I put her in the backseat instead before I grab the rope, and bind her hands and ankles. I can’t help smiling because I can only imagine how beautiful she would look in leather cuffs, pleading for her mercy as I snake a whip against her soft flesh.

Once I’m in the driver’s seat, I tap out a message to let Falcon know I’m heading back. He’ll see it on the map anyway. Putting the car into drive, I make my way home with my little captive who’s sleeping soundly. It won’t last long because the moment she wakes up, there will be hellfire coming from her mouth. And I’m thankful for the gag.

Time to play, Goldilocks…

CHAPTER SEVEN

LUCILLE

Thud. Thud. Thud.

A throb of agony shoots through my head when I try to open my eyes. A groan vibrates in my chest as I shift on the hard surface beneath me, and more pain zaps down my left side when I roll over.

I manage to open one eye, when all I see is darkness. Both snap wide open, and my head shifts to try to figure out where I am, but there’s complete black in front of me. My hands are bound behind me, and my arms scream as I attempt to tug at my restraints.

Nothing works.

My memories are fuzzy. Last night, I remember being home. I was in bed, having an early night, when I heard a noise. I’m pretty sure of it. The migraine holding me hostage has me wincing when I manage to swing my legs over the edge of whatever I’m lying on. Finally seated, I try to stand, but my legs are wobbly, sending me crashing back down onto the threadbare mattress.

Suddenly, bright light illuminates the space, blinding me momentarily.

“She’s awake,” a voice comes from somewhere int he room, but I can’t open my eyes. The stark white of the bulb forcing me to keep my lids shut.

“Who are you? What’s going on? Why am I here?” My voice croaks, my throat tight with fear as a lump forms, threatening to choke me to death. Perhaps it would be welcome, an escape from whatever the hell I’ve gotten myself into.
