The Bodyguard (Red's Tavern 7)

And there it was again. That complete melting feeling I got every time his body was close to mine. I let out a small groan as he undid his seat belt, climbing over onto my lap and kissing me with more hunger than he ever had before. I could feel the weight of him on my thighs, and now I could taste the sweet strawberry on his tongue, too.
“Can I tell you a secret?” he asked, breathless, as his warm lips met the side of my jaw.
“Please,” I whispered. My cock was hard as fucking hell now, mashing up against the front of my black work pants. Straining to get closer to him. I knew I should tell him no, that I should keep things professional, but I wanted this way too badly to ever protest.
I could hold myself back, though it was difficult. But when Theo reached out to me, I was helpless.
“I’ve wanted you to fuck me since the minute I met you,” he murmured close to my ear. His hands were trailing up my chest, his palms firm and warm.
I throbbed under my pants.
“Not sure how much of a secret that is,” I offered, surprising even myself.
Not professional. Not one bit. But I couldn’t give a damn when Theo was literally on top of me, filling my entire world with his heat and his scent.
“Mmm,” he hummed, clearly pleased with my admission. “Yeah, I guess I’m pretty terrible at keeping my desires to myself.”
“Well, then I’ll tell you a secret,” I said. “I love it. Since we met, you’re all I think about, you know.”
His hand slid down lower and lower until his palm rested on my erection. I shuddered under his touch, biting my lower lip as I looked up at him, unable to suppress a little groan.
His eyes almost seemed fiery in that moment. His eyes usually looked shockingly serene, but right now, they were all passion.
I let out a long sigh. “And another secret,” I whispered. “I’ve been wanting a man to touch me like this for my whole fucking adult life.”
In my life, I had witnessed more altercations, crime scenes, and bar fights than I could count. But never once had I felt as scared or brave as admitting that simple little fact to Theo. After a lifetime of keeping those kinds of desires secret, it felt like I was showing him the deepest, darkest part of me.
And really, it wasn’t so dark, at all.
He hummed, stroking his palm up and down my cock through my pants. “And I get to be the one who does it for you. Lucky me.”
I swallowed hard. “Lucky me,” I corrected him, still melting under his touch.
Something was nagging at the back of my mind. I kept glancing out through the windows of the car, hoping to God that we were still alone. So far, it seemed like the street where Theo had pulled over was deserted. Up far ahead were some houses, but directly surrounding us, it was all just grassy hills, palm trees, and shrubs. We were in almost complete darkness.
But it was enough to keep me in security mode. To make it so that I couldn’t fully lose myself in him.
And there was nothing on Earth I wanted more than that right now.
I cupped my hand against the side of his face and leaned in, kissing his lips again, softly. “Theo,” I said. “You’re going to hate this, but we should probably get back before we… do anything.”
He groaned in protest.
“I know,” I said. “I want to bend you over and fuck you right here, too. God damn, you have no idea how badly I want that. But we should get back to the house.”
He pulled back a little, looking me in the eyes with a half-smile on his face. “I never thought I’d see the day when you would say things like that to me.”
“What, you think I don’t have a dirty mind, too?”
“Didn’t think yours was as dirty as mine,” he murmured, dipping to gently nibble my earlobe.
“Like I said. You have no idea,” I said, my voice a low growl.
“So show me.”
“I’ll show you at home,” I pressed. “So take me there. Now.”
“I fucking love it when you’re bossy.”
“Then get in the driver’s seat.”
“Fuck yes,” he said.
He hopped back over and instantly my head was spinning wildly.
It was like I was another man entirely when Theo was on top of me like that. I became primal and animalistic, desperate and… yes, bossy.
I loved every second of it. Of course I did. But now that Theo was back in the driver’s seat and driving like a madman back to his home, my actions caught up with me in my head. As the streets of Los Angeles rolled past me outside, I barely even felt like myself.
