“Okay,” I conceded. “But I’m going to be clucking around you like a mother hen.” I turned my attention to my three guys, making sure to look each one of them in the eyes as I said it. “She is protected at all times, yeah?”
They all agreed.
“I’m serious. I want guys with eyes on her all the time. Someone needs to stay with her.”
“It’s not going to be us,” Elliot said. I looked over at him, shocked at what he was saying. I opened my mouth to tell him off, but he held his hand up. “Before you flip your shit, little one. All three of us are going to be distracted and worried about you.”
“True,” Seb agreed. “We won’t be the best people for it. I’ll be too distracted by how your ass looks in whatever jeans you wear as you go on a killing spree.”
“I’m not going on a killing spree,” I told him.
“Let Finn take care of her,” Tristan announced with a knowing smile.
“That works!” Kenna perked up before I could shut it down. I looked at Tristan to find him smiling at me like he knew what he’d done. I narrowed my eyes at him and then looked over at Finn.
“Your dick stays in your pants, or I cut it off, yeah?” I asked him.
Seb snorted.
“Yes, ma’am,” Finn said, his cheeks turning a bright red that almost made him more attractive. Gingers had never been my thing, but he had the whole lumberjack look going for him. I guessed Kenna could do worse.
“Good. I’m going to bed. I have a feeling the next few days are going to be long.”
“My turn,” Elliot said, standing up and quickly grabbing me to throw me over his shoulder. He turned around to let Tristan and Seb give me a kiss before carrying me up the stairs.
Now all we had to do was wait and hope Motshan would pull through.
