I smiled politely at her. "I'm Skye," I said as she entered the room, holding a silver tray. She smiled as she put down the tray on a nightstand and looked at me.

"You are a pretty little thing," she said sweetly, and I was amazed at how much like a grandmother she seemed as she looked me up and down. "Those clothes will not do at all. Let me find you some better clothing more suited to your new home." I smiled politely as she moved to the wardrobe.

"Oh, thank you," I said as I watched her rifle through the clothing in the wardrobe. Finally, she pulled out a plain white gown from the wardrobe.

"This should do," she said as she smiled at me. "I don't imagine you're the kind who likes to wear anything pink and frilly, so this is a good start." She motioned towards the changing station. "Would you like some help changing?" I shook my head immediately.

"Oh, I already spoke with Derek, and he said that I didn't have to do that yet," I told her, and she shrugged.

"As you wish," she said as she looked at my clothing. "Do you want me to save that clothing for you? Or do you want me to get rid of it right away?" I thought for a moment and shook my head.

"I'd like to save my clothes," I said as I smiled politely. "After all, I don't know for sure if I'll be staying."

She frowned a little as I turned away and started changing my clothes. "You aren't?" she asked. "Why on earth not? Master Derek is a good man who means no harm, and I'll be here to look after you, make sure he treats you right." As I pulled the gown over my head, my ponytail got stuck in the gown, and she moved to help me get the gown on. "Is there anything I can do to help you?" I shook my head.

"Honestly," I told her as I turned to look at her, "I don't know. I promised that I would stay for the weekend and see how it goes."

Rita smiled as she straightened my gown. "That's a good idea," she said, looking me up and down. A frown crinkled her brow, and she clasped a hand to her mouth. "Oh, this won't do at all…" She looked up at me. "I am so sorry, my dear. I mistakenly pulled out a nightgown for you." I then looked down and realized she was right. I smiled reassuringly at her and shook my head.

"It's okay," I said as I pulled it back over my head. Once I was free, I looked around. "It's probably a bit impractical to wear a gown of any kind anyways. Is there something a bit more casual I can wear?" Rita thought for a second.

"There might be some appropriate shorts and a shirt," she mentioned as she tapped a finger to her chin. "Oh, while I look for some clothes for you to wear, you should help yourself to the snack I brought you. I made chocolate chip cookies for you." My stomach growled immediately, and I nodded as she wandered around the room, looking for the clothing.

The cookies were warm and gooey, and the glass of milk in the tray with them made it even better. I had just sat down to enjoy my second cookie when she started to pull out the clothing. At that exact moment, the door blew gently open, and Derek stopped by.

"I almost forgot," he said as he stood at the door. "I…" He looked up, and we both froze as we stared at each other in shock.

CHAPTER SIX

Derek

If I had known that forgetting to tell Skye that the only clothing that might fit her were the gowns or dresses would lead to this situation, I would have just left her to figure it out for herself. However, thanks to my lack of judgement and the wide open door—courtesy of Rita—here we were.

She was in only a pair of lacey, black undies and a matching black bra, and her dark-blue suit lay on the bed. She was sitting next to the bed, a half-eaten cookie in her hand, and a thin milk mustache on her upper lip. Her body was thin yet curvy, and the skin that had been concealed by the stiff suit as pale as the milk on the tray. Some cookie crumbles fell from the corner of her mouth, and I couldn't help but smile a little as I stared at her. She was too perfect and too innocent for her own good, and part of me wanted to kick Rita out and claim what was before me right away.

"Get out!" Rita ordered as she pushed me out of the room. "She is still getting changed! It's not polite to stare and make the poor girl feel uncomfortable." Rita, being much stronger than she looked, pushed me out of the room and slammed the door on my face before locking it. Still stunned from what I had just witnessed, I shook my head.

"I'm sorry," I called out as I stared at the door, the image of Skye's perfect body fresh in my mind. My body was already rebelling, and I shuffled my position in an attempt to continue to look as posed and professional as possible while also hiding the results of my encounter with Skye.

"Should I come back later?"

Rita threw open the door and shook her head. "No need, sir," she said as she smiled sweetly at me. "Miss Skye is dressed now, and I'm off to start on dinner. Please forgive the inappropriate clothing. Nothing seems to fit. I can go clothes shopping for her later." With that, Rita rushed off down the hall and down to the kitchen. As soon as she disappeared from view, I turned to look at Skye.

She was beautiful in the long, white nightgown she was wearing, but the ponytail was still too stiff for her. She stared at me as I made my way across the room and pulled the hair tie from her hair, freeing her long, blonde locks from their prison. I smiled as I stared down at her.

"That's better," I said as I looked at her, still attempting to hide the telltale sign of my arousal that threatened to show. "I'm so sorry about that. The door was open, so I thought you were good."

Skye shook her head and gave a nervous smile.

"It's okay," she said as she looked up at me, looking more and more like an innocent child the more she stood there. "It's my fault for not shutting the door in the first place."

I shook my head. "I should have knocked," I told her. "Anyways, I wanted to ask you what you wanted to do first."

She thought for a moment and looked around.

"Don't you still have work to do?" she asked, and I shook my head.

"Not anymore," I informed her. "All my work is done for the weekend, so I thought we could do something." She frowned a little.
