“Say it!” I scream at him as I can feel another orgasm about to burst forth.
He groans, grabbing hold of my hips again. “I want to feel your pussy clenching around my cock,” he pants.
“Yeah?” I ask him.
“Yes,” he says determinedly. “I want that hot, wet pussy of yours to clutch my cock. Now!”
“Ahhh!” I cry out as the wave hits me and I shudder violently on top of him. He can’t hold on any longer and he spurts inside me, jerking his hips up higher to get even deeper into me.
“Fuck!” I exclaim as I collapse on top of him. “I love it when you talk dirty,” I add with a laugh.
“Why?” he asks me honestly.
“It’s hot,” I say, climbing off him. “Don’t you think so?”
He regards me with an interested look. “I find it ‘hot,’ as you call it, when you do it,” he says eventually.
I giggle at him and he smiles at me. It lights up his eyes and he watches me as I get dressed.
“You have satisfied me in more ways than one,” I say to him, sitting on the bed. “It has been a wonderful escape from reality, but I need to go home now and deal with everything that awaits me.”
“I am satisfied as well,” he says, taking my hand. “You are all I need, Aefre.”
I bend down to give him a kiss, a long, thorough twirling of our tongues so that he can taste himself in my mouth. He increases the pressure on the back of my head with his hand and then he lets me go.
“Next time, I please you,” he says sternly.
“Oh, you have pleased me,” I say salaciously. “You needn’t worry about that.”
“You are a wicked woman,” he says, shaking his head. “Do you need to feed again?” he adds almost eagerly.
I nod because I am not going to refuse my sire’s blood. Especially not now, when we have ignited our bond and I can feel the need to be with him. It is something I am going to have to hide and keep to myself. CK can never know about this, it will hurt him too much.
Chapter 12
The Underworld, October 2014 - Constantine
Constantine watches Devon beating his fingers on the table. It is irritating him beyond belief. “Will you stop that?” he snaps.
Devon ceases his annoying tapping. “Sorry,” he says. “She’s been gone awhile. What’s taking so damn long?”
“Fuck knows,” Constantine growls and goes back to his musings. He is sitting at Aefre’s desk in the library, trying with everything he has to hold it together. He promised himself while he was imprisoned in the Dark Fae Kingdom that if Aefre ever came back to him, he would change. No more jealousy, no more overprotectiveness, no more ripping Substitutes to shreds, no more trying to dominate her. He promised himself he would just let her be who she wants to be because that is better than what Sebastian forced her to do. He knows she has put on a brave face and it kills him to know how much she is really hurting over everything she has learned today.
And it kills him to know that she has gone to her sire for comfort.
There is absolutely fuck all he can do about it because she needs him. It’s as simple as that. He is done trying to manipulate her into choosing him. She will have to come to that conclusion by herself and if he knows the love of his life–and he does, better than anyone–she will balk at the idea of choosing anyone now. Sebastian has completely screwed it up for a really, really long time. Aefre will want to be free and he fears about the consequences of that…but…he will sit here and hold onto his doubts, fears, and anger, and remain calm. He will allow the marriage to her ex-charge, if she still wants to tie herself to him. None of it matters anymore. He needs to stay as calm as he can to help her through this process. Aefre will react better to that than she will anything else. Okay, so maybe he isn’t completely done with trying to manipulate her.
“We need to tell her about Tiamat,” Xane says, turning from his vigil by the windows. He has been standing there waiting for the Faeries to show up and, to everyone’s surprise, they haven’t as of yet.
“No,” Lincoln says. “Let her process everything else first.”
“But it’s good news,” Xane says. “She never wanted this Empress thing. Now she doesn’t have to, wouldn’t it make her happy to know that she is out of the running?”
“Perhaps,” Constantine says. “I don’t want her to worry about what Dracul’s intentions might be.”
“He seemed fine to me,” Xane says. “He said it was safe for her now.”
“And Delinda? Will we risk her just because D
