Tilly

Her eyebrows furrowed as she considered the question. “Three. David here is a vice-president in finance.” Sandy looked at the man beside her and he smiled like a lion who was playing with his next meal. “And Samuel is a CEO of the same finance company. He is American. You will meet him next week.”
I swallowed as David stared at me. “The three of you are lovers?”
“Yes, waiting for our omega to complete us. We’ll give you a perfect life Tilly, you’ll want for nothing, everyone of us will love you. We will be there for you, for each heat, ensuring you get everything you need.”
This was getting too much. I went from being a hidden omega, knowing this wasn’t what I wanted, to two packs making a claim on me. But one of those packs included Cruz.
I glanced outside to the street. I sighed my relief at seeing that the men had gone. Hopefully scared away by seeing a pack come into the coffee shop with me.
“What do you want me to do?” I asked. Maybe this was the right way to go about it. I wanted Jackson and Luca, but Cruz... I could only reject him, which meant the pack would reject me.
And having a pack meant I was going to be protected. My pack would allow no one to hurt me.
She smiled. “Are you tempted?”
No.It didn’t feel right, but what could I do?
“Yes, but I fear being bitten.”
“That’s understandable. It’s a serious step for an omega and we’ll take it easy with you,” she said, her nose rising in the air, her eyes closed as she inhaled thoroughly. “You’re aroused, Tilly. That makes me happy.”
My eyes shot high, perhaps touching my eyebrows. I swallowed back, but the ball in my throat didn’t budge.
“Can I talk to you about it in a couple of days?” I asked.
“Of course, but we are getting impatient for our omega Tilly, and now David has scented you. I know he wants you.” She glanced between David’s legs and I didn’t know what that meant. At least I didn’t want to think about what that meant. “I’ll give you a few days to consider it, but remember, Cruz was there that night and Luca and Jackson know everything that happened.”
“And you?”
“I know little, only that a gang is still looking for the missing omega.”
I glanced outside again, holding my hand over my mouth.
She nodded and patted my hand, knowing what I was thinking. “Which means you only have one genuine choice, and that is to choose our pack and let us claim you. That is the best security you will have. We won’t let anyone take you.”
David took hold of my hand and raised it to his nose. He closed his eyes and inhaled, then nodded as he calmly opened his eyes, locking his gaze on me for a couple of seconds before he turned to Sandy. “I told you months ago there was an omega smell on you.”
“Okay, David,” Sandy hissed, looking between his legs. I didn’t want to see what she was looking at, but it was the second time she had done that.
“And Samuel?” I asked, trying to calm a potential argument from taking place.
“Sam is a darling. He’s calm and nurturing. He’ll make a wonderful father.”
Father.
