“When Jackson wants cameras up, cameras go in. And while I don’t intend to announce our presence, I do want to see what goes on when Gary Boynton greets his beloved Dierdre.”
“It’s going to be completely loving,” Colleen said.
“You’re sure?”
“Positive. Say he did go and attack her himself—would he do anything now other than rush in to hold her and profess his undying love?”
“You have a point. I still wouldn’t mind watching the reunion.”
“Aren’t there laws—”
“There are. But we’re in the middle of a criminal investigation, protecting the lives of victims. You were the one who didn’t want to leave Sally alone with her estranged lover!”
“Good point. Cafeteria food it is!” she said. “And then—”
“Then we’ll be making another strange stop.”
“Oh?”
He grinned as he looked at her.
“The cemetery.”
