Never Say Never (The Ladies Who Brunch 1) - Page 12

You’re fucking killing me here, woman.

“Harder.”

Christ.

“Deeper.”

I have never come in my pants before, not even as a teenager, and I am not about to do it now as a thirty-year-old man. But if she doesn’t knock it the hell off, this just might be my first time.

“That’s it. Right there.”

“Are you fucking kidding me?”I mouth out to no one but myself.

Clenching my jaw down tighter than a screw that won’t come loose, I put some muscle behind my hands, and give Charlotte the deep and tough massage that she wants.

When the alarm goes off on the table next to the oil, I breathe out a sigh of relief that this torture is now over. However, I did not accomplish one measly detail of what I wanted to do today by coming over here.

“Jeffrey. That was perfect.” She moves to push herself up again, but I shove her head back in the hole.

“No, don’t move,” I say, panicked, but then relax my voice. “Lay there for a minute and let your body relax. You’re going to be dizzy when you rise.” That part I know is actually true after a massage. “And please wait until you hear me leave to sit up to preserve your modesty.” Although I just saw way too much of your naked body, I wouldn’t mind seeing the front side too.

“Oh. Okay. Well, thank you.”

“You’re welcome, Charlotte.”

Without making too much noise, I reach for my jacket and hightail it out of her office, gently shutting her door behind me before leaning up against the glass. Closing my eyes, I exhale with relief, grateful that I’m alone when I look back into the room just outside Charlotte’s office and see no one else here.

“Fucking hell.”

Before Charlotte can come out and see me, I take off the way I came, past Emily at the front desk before she can ask questions, and straight into the elevator that brought me up to this incident that could only serve as an indication of the web of lies I’m slowly getting myself caught in.

But damn—what a way to be lured in…
