The lights are all on when I get back. It’s early morning. She should be in bed and yet it’s more than abundantly clear that she isn’t.

I guess I should be grateful that she’s here. That she’s safe. That her douche of a boyfriend hasn’t done anything to harm her and yet all I feel is annoyed.

Timothy is smirking like he knows somethings up. Like he’s expecting my stepdaughter to be exhibiting herself again.

I unlock the door and the music is blaring. We walk through and her friend is dancing on the god damn coffee table as she laughs and swigs from an actual bottle of wine.

“The fuck is this?” I snarl turning the music off and the sudden silence is deafening.

Eden gulps, her face falling as she looks at me.

“Get down now.” I say to Kate or whatever her name is. She half stumbles, falling onto the couch and the way her legs are splayed would give me a birds eye view up her dress though I keep my eyes fixed on Eden.

Her friend hiccups before belching and Eden gasps.

“Jesus Katie.” She murmurs as if that’s the most outrageous thing they’ve done all night.

“You need to go home.” I say to the blonde.

“No, she can’t go in that state.” Eden replies scowling at me.

“And who’s fault is that?” Timothy says.

She glares at him too. “We were just letting off some steam.” She mutters dropping her eyes, looking like she’s actually ashamed of her behaviour. I don’t even know why I’m so annoyed, it’s not like it’s that big of a deal really and I know I’m overreacting. This is her house, she should be able to bring friends back if she wants, hell she’s a student. That’s what students do.

“Fine. She can sleep here. But you’re done drinking.” I say grabbing the bottle from her hand and she nods.

“I’m sorry.” She says so quietly I barely hear her.

She helps her friend up and we hear them stumble through the house to Eden’s room.

“I think she enjoys keeping you busy.” Timothy says. “I think she enjoys being a handful.”

I shake my head. She’s not. Not really. Eden isn’t normally like this. She’s a good kid. She works hard. In fact, I’ve never seen her drunk before. Seen her like this before.

Maybe it’s me that’s made her act out. Maybe I caused this. I run my hand over my face. Timothy called her a handful and by god would I love to get a handful.

“Drink?” He says.

“Yeah.” I reply.

He comes back with a beer, top already off, and I sip it while he puts a war movie on. I’m not even watching it, I don’t even like war movies, not really, but when he suggested heading back I figured it was a good way to ensure I didn’t do anything stupid. Anything reckless.

But barely a few minutes in I see her, walking down, sitting on the couch opposite us. She’s wearing a skimpy pair of shorts and a t-shirt. Normally I’d never notice them. Normally I wouldn’t stare but normally a stepdad doesn’t fantasise about face fucking his stepdaughter while his best mate is sat beside him.

“Why aren’t you in bed?” I ask her.

She shrugs. “I can’t sleep. I’ve been working night shifts. My body clock is all messed up.”

I grunt in reply. I guess it makes sense, though why she has to sit down here with us I don’t know.

She shifts, putting her legs out on the pouf, stretching them. I don’t think she’s even meaning to be provocative but even Timothy stares and I give him a pointed look.

He downs his beer and gets up. “Want another?” He asks.

“Sure.” I reply. I’ll take anything to distract me from Eden right now.

“Eden?” He asks.

“No.” I say before she can reply and she smirks just a little but says no thank you so demurely I feel my cock awaken.

He shrugs before heading to the kitchen and we sit awkwardly staring at each other while the film flickers on.

“What’s going on?” I ask her.

She shakes her head. “Nothing.”

“Eden, I know something’s up. This isn’t you. You’re not reckless. You’re not stupid.”

“No?” She says leaning forward, crossing her arms under her tits and I can’t help but drop my eyes to them for a moment. “What about what we did? Wasn’t that reckless?”

I shake my head. Let out a snarl under my breath. I’m so aware that Timothy is going to walk back in at any moment.

“You need to forget it. Pretend nothing happened.” I state.

“Is that what you’ve done? Forgotten it? Forgotten me?” She says as we hear footsteps.

I want to reply. I want to tell her that of course I haven’t. That I spend every god damn waking hour thinking of her, thinking of how I can be with her, and when I see her I spend every second devouring her skin, imagining that she’s wrapped around me, imagining that I’m sinking my cock into her tight little cunt as she begs me for it and all the while I make sure I’m not alone with her because if I am, I know I won’t be able to control myself.

Timothy walks in, placing the bottles on the table.

“I got some popcorn for you.” He says passing the bowl to Eden who smiles and thanks him.

And as he sits down I can’t help watching, envying, as she puts one cornel after another into her mouth, seeing as she parts her lips, seeing as the sugar sticks to them the way my cum did.

I shift, adjusting my trousers through the pocket as best I can, my cock is so hard right now and as my eyes flicker back to her I see she’s seen it. That she knows.
