“There are eight of us.”
Her eyes widened as she walked to them.
“Faith, this is my brother from the same mother, Blake.”
She looked confused. “What does that mean?”
“I’ll explain it later.” He wasn’t going to go into all the marriages his father had and how he had at least one son with all of them. He had to bite his tongue to keep from laughing at the look on his brother’s face. When Blake just stared, Graham cleared his throat.
Blake shook his head and closed his mouth. “I’m sorry. You’re very pretty.”
Graham smiled when Faith blushed. “Come here, baby.”
She walked to stand next to him, and he wrapped an arm around her to pull her tighter against his side. He was pleased when she didn’t fight it.
“I’d better go. I know you have something to talk about,” Blake said.
“I’ll see you later.”
“It was nice to meet you,” Faith said.
Blake turned at the door and nodded. “You, too.”
Graham turned to her and grasped her shoulders. “Do you want to show me what you’ve been working on?” He was trying to find the best way to tell her she would be married later that day, and nothing was coming to him. Hell.
He couldn’t ever remember being this nervous before in his life, and it didn’t sit well with him.
