Having Faith (Maclean Mafia Men 2) - Page 26

Chapter Fifteen

“What’s going on?” Blake asked.

“We think one of Faith’s sisters is being moved.”

“I’ll come with,” Blake said.

Graham nodded and got into the back of the car with Blake right beside him.

“James, put in a call to Fisher and see where they’re at.”

“You got it,” the driver said.

“What kind of father does this kind of shit?” Blake asked.

“A fucked-up one. I think we need to work faster on getting the other two out of that house,” Graham said.

Blake nodded. “He might go crazy when he finds out he lost another daughter.”

They pulled up behind an abandoned warehouse where his men had brought the car and Moretti men.

Both he and his brother got out and walked to his head man in charge.

“What have you got, Nic?” Graham asked.

“Hi, boss. There was only one car and four guards. I don’t think they knew about us because they would have sent more men and firepower. These guys gave up rather quickly, too. I kinda got the feeling they hadn’t wanted to take the girl to Rizzo’s.”

Graham nodded. “Good. I like that we caught them off guard. Where’s the girl?”

“Still in the back of the limo. She fought pretty hard and even kneed Trace in the balls.” Nic chuckled.

Graham smiled. Trace was one of his biggest soldiers, so he wouldn’t live this down for a while.

“Did the men struggle at all?” Blake asked.

Nic shook his head.

Graham saw the four men off to the side. “Let me talk to her first.”

Nic walked them over to the limo and opened the back door, and Graham and then Blake slid in. He heard his brother inhale quickly and knew that look in his eyes because he had the same one with Faith.

“I’m Graham Maclean, and this is my brother Blake.”

“I don’t care who the fuck you are. If you don’t let me go, my father will kill you.”

“Which sister are you?” Blake asked.

Graham almost smiled when she became even more belligerent because it fit Blake’s personality. His brother liked to pick fights and argue, so any woman would have to be strong to put up with him, or he’d run all over her.

“Fuck off.”

Blake growled. “Little girl, keep this shit up, and I’ll bare your ass and spank it until it glows.”

Graham watched the woman’s eyes widen and then immediately narrow into heat-filled slits. “Try it, asshole, and you’ll be singing soprano.”

Blake moved toward her.

“Wait, Blake. I can end this tantrum of hers. I am your new brother-in-law,” he told her.

“That’s bullshit,” she said.

“I’m not. Faith was caught in one of our warehouses and brought to me. We know about what’s going on with your father and Rizzo, and we’re trying to stop it. We’ve been working with a few men in the house who will help us get you all out of there.”

“But she married you?”

“Yes. It was one way to protect her,” Graham said.

He could see the wheels turning in her head as she seemed to think about all he said.

“My sister has a heart-shaped birthmark on her body. If you’re her husband, you’ll know where it’s at.”

Graham chuckled. “Nice try, but there is no birthmark. I know every inch of my wife’s body.”

The woman relaxed. “I won’t truly believe it until I see her.”

Graham tilted his head forward. “That’s understandable. Now, can you tell us if you’re Hope or Angelica?”

“I’m Hope. The middle girl.”

Graham smiled. “Thank you. Now, we’re going to get you back to our house—”

“I’m not leaving my sister and mom,” Hope said.

“And I already told you we’re working on it,” Graham said.
